My colour choices for this outfit were blue, brown / rust, and dirty white. It was burning hot that day man, so I didn't wear my full gear. These apocalypse pics were taken during an endzeit wasteland weekend at Das Grosse Treffen. Our Tribe Riot were guests at the Rotten Raptor encampent.

My platform boots decided to become a bit more of an apocalyptic costume by snapping off my sole during the endzeit car show. XD woops You can see the platform boots in my previous post if you are curious.

Hey there raider scum! Haven't dropped a Post Apocalyptic outfit picture in this Tumblr wasteland for a while. I went to Das große Treffen in Aach this year, bringing 3 different wastelander costumes with me. But it was blazing hot like an atom bomb just went off, so I didn't wear my full apocalypse gear. I packed weeks before the event and I thought it would be a nuclear winter. Since I was barely at home, I didn't have time to re-pack. I spend this wasteland weekend at the endzeit encampment of Rotten Raptor, together with my Tribe Riot friends. It was a 12 hours ride to Germany, but we did have fun!

Sometimes you find inspiration for kostuums in the most weird places. This idea for a orange/brown - blue costume came to me during a visit to a museum and there was a part about Royal yachts and their interior. The blue / orange and patterns / textures inspired me. so there you go!

Casual hanging out in Lizzie’s bar Cyberpunk 2077 sort of cospay - just for fun

Cyberpunk at Dutch comic Con 2022.

Finally we could go to DCC again. We decided to do an original cosplay. Inspired by the game Cyberpunk, we made our own costume versions. To be honest, I didn’t have time to make anything new, so I threw some things together that I already owned. My robotarm from my Dorgmal snow Kiva Cosplay. Unfortunatelly it is yellow, cause pink would have suited this outfit much better, but I didn’t want to f*ck up the design. The rest came from earlier outfits that I made. And it was a very cold day, so I improvised something on my belly to make it a bit warmer.

Linda Mechanika went for a black and orange aesthetic with lots of EL lighting in her costume.We both mixed it up with our wasteland aesthetic, to make the whole thing a bit more grimmy. The event itself was big, so big we got lost sometimes :’)  And there were a lot of the same kind of vendors. And also a lot of the same cosplayers, we counted 9 jinxes already at the entrance hall. It quickly became very boring, not sure we will attend next year. It was just to much of the same.

Wasteland outfit - Bunny Anja LivingDreadDoll picture 1 or 2? My Dieselpunk / Post apocalyptic easter bunny costume this year.  with a little bit of Jinx (League of Legend) as  inspiration for the first picture. Again a DIY costume. The only problem that I have with this outfit is the bunny mask itself, it is so heavy on the nose. So not suitable for long wear, any idea’s how to fix that? I tried to put some more weight in the back, straps on top of my head, but it didn’t help.

I’m excited to see what 2022 will bring !  Especially when it comes to my own style. I’m again a bit bored about the Wasteland outfits, but the Cyberpunk style and aesthetic makes me really excited!  To me it’s a new fresh neon dystopian futuristic style to explore. New opportunities, materials and shapes. Let’s dive into this retrowave world.
