Life update: We’re moving to London this year! More specifically, we leave in a little over 3 weeks!

If you would’ve told me two years ago that I would be leaving my favorite place, the Upper East Side of Manhattan, where I was born, raised, and still lived up until 6 months ago, I would’ve told you you’re whack & to never speak to me again. Just kidding, I wouldn’t have been that aggressive. But I definitely would’ve followed it with a totally obnoxious response about how I’ve never lived anywhere else in my life (not even through college!) & never planned to. Because it’s true, I never wanted to leave the place that was home. But a little bit of this & a little bit of that made us think about trying something new. And I guess a new hairstyle or pair of shoes wasn’t enough for either of us. So here we go!

One of the biggest life updates is that Ross created and sold a board game! It’s called “Woodcraft” and he published it back in October 2022. We got to go to Germany, to one of the biggest board game conventions in the world, and we got to work the booth to sell/promote/teach the game for the whole week. It was one of the craziest experiences of our lives. And the game sold out!! I couldn’t be more proud of Ross.

Random updates:

1. Yesterday was gorgeous so we walked to get coffee!

3. We baked cinnamon rolls from scratch. So good!

4. Then we shoved hot honey pepperoni pizza into our mouths.

5. When the weather felt like summer and we spontaneously had a picnic after work with games and popcorn.

6. Biking to our friends house. I love going passed The Dakota—my favorite building in nyc.

7. A photo of Ross at his birthday dinner I took him to. We had German food and German beer (we never drink!)

8. Me at my mom’s pool in Florida having to completely shield my face from the sun because that was the day I woke up as puffy as Will Smith in “Hitch” (if you know, you know.)

Just visited my sister in London! So lucky that Ross’ family and now my family all live in England, so we can visit everyone at once!

I know I don’t really come here anymore but I miss just being able to write and talk.

Life feels tough right now. I hate feeling stuck in my job and as if I’ll never leave a corporate career because of the stability it gives me. Like I want the stability but at what expense? Being unhappy? Not getting time for myself? Feeing stressed all the time?

Money is certainly not everything. I hate not knowing what to do.

Meet Frank!

I have worked out 6 days a week for the last 8 years. So it’s nothing new for me.

And I’m always eating healthy in different ways. Sometimes that means salmon and veggies, sometimes it means chickpea pasta and turkey meatballs. No limits to healthy eating!

But for the last 3 weeks I’ve stuck to a high fiber lifestyle and just strength training and I’m feeling really strong!

I like to go a little hard before the holidays ;)
