Allan was feeling rather speechless, for once.
Soran… Ibrahim. You’re kidding, right?
A quick glance over showed that no, the boy was not playing a prank on him. His breathing had not changed, nor did his pupils dilate. There were no suspicious movements from him, so Soran was not lying.
Eliminate the impossible and whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.
Which was that, Setsuna F. Seiei has fallen into their dimension and, being the gundam freak he is, has taken an interest in gunpla battle. Or something along those lines. “..Right, Soran, then. Unless you would prefer Setsuna? How was the food, by the way?”
Setsuna.
Momentarily startled, Setsuna nearly dropped his chopsticks. How did he know? Then it hit him. That show. The name must have been revealed at some point. He should have realised. It was so stupid of him to overlook it. Well, too late to take it back now.
He looked up at Allan Adams, trying to gauge if he was mocking him for attempting to emulate a supposedly fictional character, or if he seriously acknowledged his identity. It was hard to tell, but the man so far seemed genuinely friendly, so maybe he was serious.
“I prefer Setsuna,” he replied. “And the food is delicious.”
“I’m happy to hear that!” Allan smiled upon hearing the boy’s answer. “Setsuna, now that you had lunch, do you wish to start the gunpla session now?“
At first glance, he believes that he would be able to know what was the problem behind the Exia- and why it was not able to perform Trans-Am. However, only a closer look would Allan be able to tell whether his hypothesis was accurate- even just by a bit.
“Do you mind if I ask you a few questions about you yourself and your fellow pilots later on, though?”
