Sure enough, he had smelled the arousal whenever Stiles was nearby, but Derek always played it off as the boy being the typical hormonal and overly horny teenager. The longing he heard in that voice now, told the werewolf he'd been wrong all along. 

               It wasn't that Derek didn't like or respect Stiles, because he did, more than he did most of the others around, because this kid alone had proven time and again to be a reliable and useful asset, a real part of the team. Still, he'd never allowed himself to think about the other in a more romantic way, considering the fact that the other was underage for starters, but also a million other reasons. 

                                             "----You're just a kid."

                                           Only, he wasn't. Was he?

                                           "You should."

     Dwight lost everything because of him; his family, his home, the normal life they had in Beacon Hills. All because Derek trusted the wrong person. He could never forgive himself for the events that had happened so far, then how could he accept such forgiveness from his twin.
