mperegrym Today I was surprised by a beautiful, heartfelt introduction by @Enukaokuma at the Golden Maple Awards. I am beyond blessed with wonderful friends and feel so valued today. Thank you to @kaci_k_ for being my sidekick. Thank you for the acknowledgment regarding my career (that is only made possible because of countless people who have had my back). Thank you to @melissawalshmakeup for making me and my zit presentable. Thank you for @katesomervilleskincare for the intense facial to dig out all the chocolate. And thank you Canada for growing me up, happy birthday.

Actress Missy Peregrym will receive the Maple of Excellence for Outstanding Acting Achievement. The “Rookie Blue” star was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award this year for the ABC series, which ran six seasons.

Even before we even started filming, Greg, Travis and I played basketball on an outdoor court and it really set the tone for our friendships on set as well as for our characters. Mostly because I am much better than both of them, so I immediately had their respect and they feared me! ;) Charlotte and I would go to the spa and relax, or go shopping on weekends, and Enuka and I played Guitar Hero/Rock Band.
