😴 oh geez! Thank you daylight savings for making it harder to get out of bed this morning! 😩 It was dark outside when my ⏰ alarm went off and my brain was like ‘no, that’s not right!’ So of course I hit the snooze button a few times until I remembered it was so. But I feel better now after a shower and made breakfast. 🌴 Coconut yogurt with @purely_elizabeth granola, 🍇 fresh raspberries and a drizzle of 🍯 almond butter. Because I can 😏 #tiu #tiuteam #tiuapproved #tiucarolina #tiunutrionplan #vegan #veganandpregnant #vegansdoitbetter #whatveganseat #plantbaseddiet #powerdbyplants #lfv #lowfatvegan #eatclean #carbup #cleaneats #builtbyplants

Anonymous asked:

What healthy oatmeal brands would you recommend? I've always just used Quakers old fashioned oats, but idk if that's actually healthy or not.

Why wouldn’t it be healthy? It’s just oats. I use Quaker myself. Or Purely Elizabeth oats.

Butternut squash waffles I had a bag of butternut squash that I wanted to use to make a yummy treat with. This is what I came up with and it was AMAZING!!!! 1⃣1 cup cooked butternut squash 2⃣1/4 cup GF oats 3⃣1/4 cup o.sprouted brown rice flour 4⃣1/2 cup of ancient grain oatmeal by @purely_elizabeth -quinoa -hemp -flax -chia -amaranth -GF oats 5⃣ 2 pasture raised eggs 6⃣ 1/2 cup unsweetened coco milk 7⃣ 1 tsp palm sugar 8⃣ all in the blender!!! 9⃣ pour into waffle machine and cook on low for a while to allow the center to cook without the outsides burning! Also I winged the recipe so my estimated my proportions! So use them at your own discretion ;) PLAY AROUND!

Blackberry Oatmeal

I made a great oatmeal concoction the other day that I want to share with you. I raided my cabinets to figure out what I could put in my oatmeal to spice it up. Here is what I came up with:

Ingredients:

Purely Elizabeth Ancient Grain Oatmeal 6 Blackberries 1 Date 1 1/2 c vanilla unsweetened almond milk 1tsp honey Cinnamon

Preparation:

1. Follow cooking instructions for oatmeal on bag. I made mine with almond milk. 2. Chop up one date into tiny pieces 3. Mix blackberries, dates and about 1/2 cup of almond milk into oatmeal 4. Drizzle honey and cinnamon on top 5. Enjoy!
