Coming along! I forgot to stitch the eye before moving on to the yellow. 🤷‍♀️ I need something to 'watch' while I stitch. I'm watching Supernatural right now and I know it's going to disappoint me in a few seasons. 🙂

So I’m re-reading the books and here are some things I forgot about Harry Potter

peeta mellark remains the gold standard of book heroes even after all these years

Hey remember when Katniss decided she couldn’t hate the people she was working with in The Games, because she realized if she was born and raised in The Capital then that could’ve easily been her? How she has a rational amount of sympathy for the average elite and doesn’t delude herself into think she’d just know better?

Y’all ever think about how Peeta Mellark was a symbol of hope for Katniss ever since she was a little kid? She’s always known the world is unfair and unkind, but she remembers the boy with the bread, who gave her hope when she had none, who saved her life when no one else would.

If I see you again, it’s gonna be a different world

I realize only one person will be damaged beyond repair if Peeta dies. Me.
