I just want to make sure for myself as well that since her mother is planning on removing this post from her Tumblr that we make as many posts as possible documenting this so that this selfish woman does not get to erase everything that her daughter was

Reblog if you’re a safehouse blog!
Remember you can always talk to me if you need to my lovelies <3 x
I’m not sure what a safehouse blog is, but I’ll support anyone through anything. Fandom families are still families. Good Luck to all!
I AM A SAFEHOUSE BLOG. If any of those “raider” scumbags wants to get to fellow fandom families of mine, they’ll have to go through me first and I am forged from hellfire and steel. Let’s just hope they acknowledge that first before trying.
I AM A SAFEHOUSE BLOG. mageofpolyamory is my mate and my wrath is 10x his, so you are very much protected. Any of these scumbag bullies will reap the day they stepped to me.

I HAVE SEEN THE SECRETS OF THIS UNIVERSE
Do you Know what is happening in Venezuela? This is what is happening. This is what has been happening during a week. The students have been protesting in a pacific way against the repressive and tyrant government that we have since 1999 (yes, 15 years living with insecurity, food and medicine shortages, deprivation of liberty, and media blackout) and what is the police and the army doing? Beating us, shooting us, and recently some students were condemned to jail for 13 years!! For what crime? For claiming justice and democracy. Please, share this post, the world needs to know.

you see these costumes? they’re considered “unwearable”.
honestly i’m pretty disgusted right now. this season i was hired at spirit halloween. now that the season’s over, we shut down the store and package everything back up until next year. we found many costumes with a broken zipper or missing an accessory or two. we were orderd to throw them out.
that’s right. right into the dumpster.
the belle dress i’m wearing? it was considered unsellable because it’s missing gloves and a headband. the bone suit? no dress shirt or hat so obviously no person could use it. the alice costume? it had the wrong accessories. who would want that, right?
i asked if we could have a charity pick them up or anything and i was told that because of company policies we were not allowed to do that and the items had to be “destroyed”, with proof that they were destroyed. i was furious. so after work i climbed into the dumpster, pulled out three boxes of costumes and ended up carrying them in the rain and onto a bus because i don’t have a car of my own. i plan to fix them all up and donate them to a charity because i felt sick to my stomach thinking about how some kid who’s family can’t afford a costume could be using these. it’s totally messed up and i’m not gonna let this shit happen.
i managed to save all of these…. nearly 40 costumes. it was literally all i could carry. most of them are kids’ costumes.
as a cosplayer i understand how much fun dressing up and becoming a character is. every person should get to enjoy that, even if they can’t afford it. halloween was a big part of my childhood and to think that some kids don’t get to experience that like i did breaks my heart. i hope that these costumes i salvaged will find their way to the people that need them most.
