If I were tasked with describing a perfect being

A beam of hope in the apocalypse

A drink of water during a drought

A buffet during a famine

Leaving behind the wickedness of the world

Not unlike the grandest of works

Like the leaves that's sway in the wind

The grass that grows undetered

The fishes that swim in majesty

The birds that fly through adversity

The clouds that formlessly defy destiny

The cosmos that in it's ever changing glory finds structure where there is none.

I've heard your whispers

I've been tempted by you almost everyday

I close my eyes and you're the first thought that exists

The darkness and silence reminds me of how utterly, unimaginably....beautiful you are

I see your hips roll with the flow of time

Your skin glow with the moon's ever shining blessing

I've heard your sweet sounds of nothingness

And felt the comforting coldness of oblivion

At times I miss your touch

You're guiding hand that tries ever so gently to lead me into your realm

At times I wish you'd come whisper your nothingness to me and lul me into infinity

Sing to me your sweetest echoes

Watch me fall in love with you all over again

Death, you've been the only one I've ever loved

The only one who's never abandoned me

The only one who's been with me since birth and never far from me

How could I not fall for that type of loyalty.

I'll be ever waiting for the day i can take your hand and marry you

We'll use the ringing of souls to state our vows

And the golden silence to seal them
