Hanging Rock Pt. 7 (probably)
Had an amazing time with Graham and Riede on top of Hanging Rock at 8 or 9 in the morning. There was an immense fog over everything and rising above the layer at the peak of the hike turned the morning into something else all together. Standing on the edge of the point, one could feel like they were flying through the clouds on a massive stone foothold. Looking further away at the clouds, one felt like they were standing on the edge of a swirling typhoon. It was still raining most of the way up and the wind only served to heighten the experience (even if it was cold as hell).
It was an experience I don’t think I’ll ever forget.
