and then he keeps on and Octavia tries again 'She's gone' and he just bursts

and then he begs her to get up and fight and she does and the way she wakes up and looks at him, JUST LOOKS AT HIM WITH SO MUCH LOVE AND ADORATION AND THEN THROWS HERSELF IN HIS ARMS, IN HER SAVING GRACE, LIKE A WAVE FINDING ITS ABSOLUTE RIGHT PLACE WHEN IT CRASHES AGAINST THE CLIFF AND THEY JUST BOTH BREATHE TOGETHER IN UNISON AND YOU CAN SEE HIS HEART CALMING DOWN AS SHE BURIES HERSELF IN THE CROOK OF HIS NECK AND WHISPERS 'THE HEAD AND THE HEART'

i absolutely Love the questions they ask in 4x08-- do we get to keep our humanity by inflicting terrible things on innocent people in the hopes it will save the human race? we understand why our enemies were doing this to us, does that make us just as evil as them? or is it okay to do it because we have 'better' reasons? does survival justify testing on humans?

and i love how clarke finally finds a definition for "i bear it so they don't have to" that actually works. choosing to test herself instead made me cheer the first time i watched it and it made me cheer tonight. that is clarke griffin to me.

Forgot how much I love 4x01 (and all of s4 tbh even if some of the fandom finds it boring I find that it’s the most emotional of seasons)

gotta love how Clarke and Bellamy talk at first;

then bangety bang they’re keeping it to themselves but have to tell Indra, Kane and Abby too and Clarke always looks at Bell for advice;

Indra somehow always getting weird stuff they tell her same as Roan and them just clicking when they explain nuclear power plants and shit like that to her;

Bellamy RUNNING TO SAVE CLARKEY WHEN EGGO HAS HER;

KANE PULLING HIM BACK LIKE SON WHAT ARE YOU DOING SAME AS IN 3x02 but it’s not new to him he’s effing seen it just a few months ago;

the way that Octavia no matter what is SO WORRIED ABOUT HER BROTHER THE ENTIRE EPISODE; SHE KEEPS AN EYE ON HIM when he talks to Ec,ho and gets extreme when he’s pinned to the ground and has a knife to his throat;

Roan and Clarke’s conversation when she convinces him of what’s going on, I just love those two talking and discussin; 

The conversation between Abby, Kane, Clarke and Bell at the end;

Sometimes you just have it so hard to believe that no matter the circumstances the g.rounders are ready to fight a war even though they're all about to die

man I love how fighty Clarke is in 2x01, how she doesn’t trust the Mount Weather people and how perfect everything seems but it also makes me a little sad because she’s lost that part of her that believes in the good and has hope for the better. I understand it but if you think about it, she’s been on the ground for just about a month when they catch her and she already lost so much. You can see she clearly already has PTSD and goes through some really awful stuff mentally but god…I LOVE her ugh *sad eyes* 

STACKED100 - OCTOBER POST

It's something I thought up, inspired in part by "stackednatural", but mostly by myself doing this with The Vampire Diaries this last year (see my #stackediaries tag). The gist of it is that, starting this month of October and ending in September 2024, we'd watch the episodes of The 100 on the anniversary of their airing date. You can see the full schedule here.

Whatever the hell you want lmao. Tag whatever post you make #stacked100 and go for it! Gifsets, live blogging, discussions... engage with other people as much or as little as you want. Watch some episodes and not others, for any reason. I'm doing this to have some fun with this VERY polarizing show, seeing how my perspective might be changed with hindsight + this specific way of watching it, and a bit because I miss my little corner of this messy as fuck fandom. But this is something you can do in whichever manner works for you, mate.

-October 22nd - Season 2 Episode 1, "The 48". While Clarke struggles to make sense of her bizarre surroundings, Lincoln risks his life to save Octavia, and Kane establishes his authority.

-October 29th - Season 2 Episode 2, "Inclement Weather". Clarke demands answers from President Wallace, Abby performs emergency surgery on Raven, and Octavia resorts to violence to find Lincoln.

you gotta love the way that you can see Bellamy is so anxious in 1x12, trying to figure out how to keep them all safe with Clarke being gone and he’s doing his best but he’s just internally so on edge, you can sense it. He refuses Raven and Jasper to go out in order to keep them safe, he already is a leader when he tries to do what is right for the 100 like he says but it’s killing him and by the end when he agrees to go out and look for them he has his priorities straight-so at first it’s anxiousness-then the realization of bad leadership decisions because of what they did to Murphy-then the daunting fact that they were wrong and they shouldn’t leave but should rather fight instead. And in all honesty, I think he’s right-how could they trust anyone (let alone Luna who we figure out later on what type of character she was), a grounder with their safety. They should trust themselves and their survival instincts instead of relying on a possible empty promise.

But i just love how anxious he is. He’s like *what the hell* the entire time, yelling, tossing, trying to figure it all out. It makes me wonder how much harder it must’ve been for him when he had to keep a child safe from the Ark and hide her. Brings you back to that.
