Do you have prompts for dramatic reveals? Uncovering a character's face to show scarring, exposing a character as secretly inhuman, discovering a hidden identity, etc? Thank you :D

I have a few:

Uncovering a characters face:

The revealer feels physically sick when they realise who it is. Their hands shake and their mind races to put two and two together because it cannot be them… surely not.
The face reveal before the Final Fight is always a good idea.
Maybe the characters mask is damaged beyond repair, maybe they take it off because their vision is messed up by te

Exposing as inhuman:

Maybe this is done in a no-way out scenario where the character has to reveal their true form to escape.
Or they’re pushed to the edge that they cannot hide themselves anymore.
The character could use a glamor that falls when severely ill/injured. This could also cause issues if the characters don’t know about your characters anatomy and the way it responds to treatments

Identity reveals:

I like the identity that is revealed from something other than their face. Perhaps the way they walk, talk, gesture etc. Maybe it’s from a mole, tattoo, scar or freckles that the character realises it’s the whumpee.
This works brilliantly if the whumpees face is so bruised it’s unrecognisable, so the only way they know it’s them is from that one mole on their neck or something.

ZenPen: A minimalist writing website to keep you free of distractions and in the flow.
The Most Dangerous Writing App: A website where you have to keep typing or all of your writing will be lost. It helps you keep writing…kind of. You can choose between a time or word count limit!
Evernote: An online website where you can take notes and save the product to your laptop and/or smartphone!
Writer, the Internet Typewriter: It’s just you and your writing, and you can save your product on the website if you create an account.
Wordcounter: A website to help check your word and character count, and shows words you’re using frequently.
Monospace: An Android app for writing on the go when you feel the inspiration, but you don’t have your laptop on you!

Cute Sickfic Things

• I’m all for characters at their worst, but can we talk about Character A walking in on Character B wearing their sweater, eyes glassy and nose red

• When the Character B is wearing a hoodie pulled low over their face and hands in sweater paws, wiping their nose pathetically yet so adorably

• Character A walks in with a “Honey, I’m home” only to be greeted by Character B wrapped up like a burrito, blanket trailing forlornly on the floor

• Character B is so cold and feverish, and the loving Character A stays up all night cuddling with them, making herbal tea and giving medicine until they fall asleep

• When Character B is feeling extremely weak and reaches their arms out to Character A to please carry them because they don’t have the strength

• When Character B whines and Character A shoves them away until they realise that Character B never complains unless they’re sick and immediately begins to look after them

• Character B is feverish and can’t sleep, but Character A runs a cool hand through sweaty hair and hums a lullaby until they fall asleep

• Character B is just recovering from the vomiting bug and is so weak so Character A spoon feeds them food and helps them drink water

• Fevers make Character B hyper, so Character A gently traps them on their lap and hushes them until they fall asleep, back pressed to Character A’s chest

• Character A’s wonderfully cool fingers brushing against Character B’s sweaty, hot forehead and them leaning towards the cool hand

• Stubborn Character B finally finishes that essay and Character A wraps them in a blanket and drags them to the couch to care for them

My very favorite trope though

When characters A and B are facing some danger and character A puts out an arm to protect character B

Good variations:

-Character B doesn’t realize the danger until character A puts out his or her arm -Character A isn’t the larger or stronger character but still takes responsibility for character B’s safety -Character A doesn’t stand a chance against the danger -Character A continues talking like there isn’t anything wrong while standing between character B and the threat -Character A doesn’t get along with character B and/or vice versa -The danger is comically minor -Character A has seemed helpless or bumbling but is now revealing inner depths and hidden strength
