Lorelei Undertow (NSFW warning) One of my personal favorite tumblr artists, who also did some amazing pieces for me in the past... Who I also never really got around to thanking. I know it’s not nearly as grand as what you’ve done for me, but I do want you to know I really appreciate what you’ve done, without me asking, and I still love your artwork. So... here’s a drawing of Lorelei, but with her mane down/ longer. I just seem to be incapable of not doing that. (I also didn’t see any kind of reference, so I just did the best I could from what I could find.)

Albeit a bit reluctantly, the sleeping pony wakes up, and confirms for herself that it is time to get up, upon seeing the light shine through the large door to her room. Walking to the entrance, after picking long strands of hair from her mouth, Solace peeks outside. The door, mostly made of what seems to be some sort of sturdy glass, or plastic of some kind, allowing her to see through it, has an emblem resembling a crescent moon placed at it’s center. Also visible from the inside are what appears to be long strands of black hair hanging along the outside of the door. The faint sound of breathing can still be heard, but does seem more noticeable now, thanks to being neat the doorway. Whatever is making the sound must be outside.

In a small, enclosed area, Solace rests peacefully atop a small, secured mattress that she calls a bed. A dim light shines through the entrance of the space, but slowly grows brighter, signalling the start of the oncoming day. While the small pony rests, a gentle, yet more significant sound of breathing can be heard outside. This goes unheard by Solace for now... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (And, it begins. The first post to what I have dubbed ‘Solace Quest.’ (Assuming anyone remembers my previous project like this.) I have made a small info page which can be found HERE. So, here’s hoping everything works out! PS, I do plan on working on the HUD/ Layout, etc with time. This is just to give the general idea for now.)

Question to all followers

(Something that has been on my mind a lot recently is what direction this blog should go in. I know I do not update frequently, by any means, but a major reason behind that these days is, I am just not sure what I should do with it anymore. I do hope to tell the stories I had planned with time, but I also found that I enjoyed drawing for other blogs, and such. One thing that crossed my mind some time ago was to start a separate, more interactive, arc with Solace, and Serenity herself would become something more of an... advice character, occasionally giving tidbits of her story through her answers, where applicable. But, that was only one thought for a possibility. I do not want to end the blog, but I feel like I do not have direction anymore, and it makes updates... difficult. At this point, I would just be happy drawing again, so I do not particularly mind whatever direction is suggested. Simply put, what do you, my remaining followers, want to see from this blog?
