basic plot idea where my muse is kind of cold and unaffectionate with anyone, but is friends with your muse who recently went through a bad breakup. my muse suggests or agrees to fake being in a relationship with your muse to make their ex jealous. but then my muse starts to like the fake relationship a little too much and falls for yours

@ssvperboy starter for youuuu

Memphis was in over their head. They hadn’t been home in over 5 years, and they left on not the best terms either. They didn’t say goodbye to a single soul, nor did they really want to either. Phi’s mother had kicked them out without a second thought and they knew that in that moment this wasn’t home anymore so they took off for the east coast. Memphis swore up and down to never return. Unfortunately tragedy struck and Memphis’s sister was killed, and the one person to ever bring them home was her. They packed up a small suit case, and headed off back home. Small towns were really never their strong suit but they headed to the local diner, plopped down and pulled out their sketch book and drew until someone walked up. Without even looking up, “A Coke please.” A barely audible voice left their mouth, something however told them to look up. “Shit.” Was all they could say.

i'm okay with:

  • starting over - are you a little overwhelmed with where our thread is going? let me know, and i'd be happy to start a new one with you!
  • pausing - if you're feeling one thread more than another we have going on, that's perfectly fine! you're welcome to let me know if you'd like, but it's not a necessity.
  • multiples - if we have a ship that you love and you have many ideas for them, always feel welcome to throw them at me no matter what! while it may affect my reply speed due to having more, it doesn't affect my interest at all!
  • regrouping - maybe we initially had an idea that didn't pan out but you don't know how to say it? just shoot me a message and let me know you'd like to plot further/something else.
  • anything else - have we not talked and you want to? shoot me a message! send in a meme if you don't know where to start! ask for my discord! i may not initiate too often myself, but i love being able to love our threads together!

“Listen, I know what may not be the brightest…but I didn’t mean to do this you know. It’s not…not like I planned to come here like this.” Shawn said as he bit his lip upset. “I definitely didn’t plan to be stuck here this long.” Shawn looked at Marcus, “did I do something wrong?”

ImageImage

Marcus was half tempted to say yes; to tell Shawn that he was doing nothing but annoying him and putting Q in danger as he worked to find a way to get Shawn home. But that wouldn’t be fair, nor really true since Marcus was indifferent to his presence. “You’re just asking me questions when all I wanted was a quiet day,” he settled on instead, his voice full of exhaustion instead of his usual ire.

Shawn’s heart stopped when he heard Marcus speak. “I..I didn’t mean to. We were just…I’m sorry.” Shawn truly looked like a lost puppy dog and he couldn’t quite understand why he was acting this way. “I thought I was helping.”

Ronan bit his lip anxiously, as he quickly got a construction back and tossed the hamsters cage into it to hide the evidence of the experiment "It was..for work. Yea. For work. It's not illegal if I'm working on a cure for..I can't tell you what exactly, but I promise you it is going to change the world." Ronan fumbled over his words as he obviously was not off to a good start as this hamster exploded. "It's better than what happened to the la--again never mind. Maybe it'll be better if we go out for dinner today. I just need to ch-change and we can go."

"Ronan," she started, staring at him when he said it was for work. "They do that kind of stuff in labs, not your own house!" Althea couldn't wrap her head around this or why this happened but an exploded hamster was not a good thing by far. "Maybe..next time just meet me somewhere instead of asking me to come over? Save me from knowing exactly what you're doing in here.

ImageImage

Ronan chuckled, “Listen. I’m really sorry I totally lost track of time, and I was making really good progress—right sorry.” Ronan stood up tall and step around the desk he was behind. “If you give me 5 minutes I’ll clean up and we can get dinner?” Ronan was trying to make up for the fact that he probably already messed up this entire thing. “Althea, I totally understand if you want to leave.”

Mateo was flighty, he was all over the place trying to keep his shit togheter and he also had a hard time understanding why people consistantly put up with his bullshit. He was a good kid, just didn't really understand the semantics of a lot of things, so he was really greatful for Karma. A smirk grew on his face, "Si, I agree, we should defintiely go see what is going on." He laughed softly as he scrunched his face, "What's a little danger?"He said as he pocketed his phone and looked over at Karma. "So--you want to drive or want me to?" Doing stuff like this wasn't really his cup of tea, but he was trying to be more adventurous in his life.

Karma had her own way of dealing with things and they weren't always the most conventional. However he chose to deal with his own shit was fine by her, even if he didn't get it sometimes. It was adorable in a way. "Oh, danger is fun when done right, luckily you're with the master at that. I'll drive, gives you time to collect yourself so you're not a scatterbrain when we get there."

Mateo was kind of oblivious to most things, he was working in a sort of field that definitely didn’t suit his personality. He was a good guy and really I ly wanted to make things better for those around him, but here he was going on an adventure, that would most likely get them killed if it were anyone else. “Claro, I trust you Karma.” Mateo bit his lip, but a little laugh escaped his lips. “So where is it exactly we need to go? And can you help me..wait you said that you would. Sorry, I’m working on being calm…so si, you drive, just please…be careful with the car.” He ran his hand through his hair.

Stone couldn’t help but laugh; this side of Stone almost never came out. He hid it away and kept it away for good reason. “I-I alllllways think you’re beautiful. Like…Like beautiful like the sea…” he said smirking then biting his bottom lip. Holding on tight to the log, as he felt like his whole world was spinning around him. “Just…pills? All of the drugs!!” He said waving his hands around wildly, all of it starting to hit him now and the unsettled stomachache grew as well. “Why-Why do you act like you can’t stand me? No-I didn’t mean to ask that.” His face fluctuated between happy and upset. “I’m really…Not sober.”

"Oh, so what am I? A mermaid now?" She teased him, keeping him steady with her hand on the small of his back as she listened to him and a small sigh came from her mouth. "Oh, Stone, sweetie I think you had way too much for real." Now she was a little worried and that nice little happy buzz she had going on was gone. "Yeah, how about we get you back to my place and get some water in you? You can just crash on my couch."

ImageImage

Stones head was pounding, really what did he take and honestly why did he take anything? These things were absolutely something he never did. He focused back in on Odette. “No!! Not a mermaid…mermaids…are bitches.” Stone hiccuped and his eyes widened as he tried to focus on anything and everything around him. “No…Od—-I’m fine. I promise. I just…” he was absolutely not fine. His head was spinning and he couldn’t stop, his head felt like it was a thousand pounds and he could barely even keep it up. “I-I can go home alone—you…don’t need to take care of me.” He tried to stand up off where he was sitting but it wouldn’t budge. “I think I’ll just stay right here.” He said matter of factly, he looked up at Odettes whose face was now scrunched with worry. “Yea…maybe…I should get some..I should crash on your couch.” He slurred out, he was in real trouble if he stayed where he was.

He thought she was cooler than a superhero. Why did such a simple retort send butterflies surging through her stomach? Why were her insides tingling? Why was her tummy doing somersaults? How could someone so dead manage to make feel Tessa so alive? (Oh, the irony.) She knew better than to get attached but quite frankly, she was seared to Sebastian from the moment she heard his voice, from the moment she became aware of his existence. Not just aware but when she was able to see him, hear him. It all had to mean something. Everything meant something. What that meaning was, Tessa did not know but she yearned to find out more, to discover what more was in store for the two. Having hopes was dangerous and futile, but it didn’t stop her anyway. From the limited time she had known him, it had already been a rollercoaster. These sorts of things didn’t happen for no reason or just because. She just didn’t know the reason yet. Turned out there were a plethora of things she didn’t know. “Oh yeah?” she finally retorted, a curious tilt of her head followed by a little smile etched on her features. “Why is that? I don’t have a cape, or a snazzy costume - though honestly, those suits look uncomfortable as hell… but still!”

A laugh tickled her at his declaration about having no regrets. “Famous last words, Sebby. It sounds like something someone who’s about to regret saying ‘no regrets’ might say,” she teased, unable to help the way her lips curved into another little smile. She would never get over how easy this was; she would never get used to it. How this person, this wonderful man who’d been taken away from the world far too young and too soon all those years ago. How lucky she was, being able to get to know him like this. Feeling as though they’d known each other for a lifetime and how easy it was just to talk to him. The way she felt more alive than she’d ever been before in talking to him; the irony in feeling like that when she didn’t even know she had reached her own demise. Noting the way his face changed as the topic of conversation grew more serious, Tessa wondered whether she should have approached the subject of his children. But this poor, wonderful man had been through it all, losing his family and probably hadn’t been able to talk about it with someone or anyone for so many years. Not in the way they were currently speaking anyway. Seeing the way he flinched as she touched his shoulder, she almost recoiled with an apology at her lips. But she didn’t move, her thumb gently stroking against him in a soothing gesture as she listened. Even all these years later, it was evident by the pure grief etched onto his face that it was something he never truly recovered from. And understandably so; she was the same, with her sister. Years had passed since and she can remember that day as clear as day, the ache in her so hollow and still so raw. “I’m sorry, Seb,” she murmured softly, her voice barely above a whisper. Before she could speak again, she felt his arms around her, pulling her in, embracing her in a hug. With no hesitation or qualms, her arms wrapped around his shoulders. How was this even possible? Tessa didn’t know nor had any intention of asking. Just wanted to relish in the moment. Despite the heavy topic of conversation, she couldn’t help but appreciate this moment, appreciate him. Plus, he gave nice hugs for someone who had been dead for decades. “I know - thank you..” It had been the first time in ages she’d mentioned her sister, but it just felt so easy, discussing it with him. “She was my sister and… I was the one who found her. It’s not something you ever really learn to forget, or to move on from and -” her voice wavered as she spoke, and she instantly cleared her throat when she felt it crack ever so slightly. No, no, no. “Anyway, we’re not talking about me, I didn’t mean to make this about me,” she laughed weakly, watery. How long had it been since she spoke freely about her sister? But she soon deflected, brightened up, gave Sebastian a gentle squeeze, still locked in the hug that she didn’t feel particularly like letting go of just yet. “You give nice hugs, by the way.”

Tessa couldn’t help the guilt chewing away at her. First, she had him worried about her after being knocked out or dead for who knows how long, then she brought up a hard topic of conversation with his children, loss, and the grief that came with it. And now she was even the bearer of bad news. It wasn’t difficult for her to see how he’d tried to keep himself together, composed. But the slam of his fists connecting with the wall jolted her and made her jump although she sort of half-expected it. “I’m really sorry -” she repeated again, helplessly. Hopelessly. She must’ve sounded like a broken record with the apologies. Her heart sank when he told her the perpetrator, a look of anguish plastered all over his features. And then he was…thanking her? It was all a bit dizzying, to say the least. “It’s okay,” she said, meekly, a shrug rolling from her shoulders. “I just… I wish I could’ve done more, found out more - give you a better outcome…” Her eyes darted towards that same photo again. Why was she so drawn to it? Why did the person in the picture look so familiar to her? It was the wrong time, completely, not when she just weighed him down with such horrible news. But she couldn’t help but point at it, asking, “Who’s that?”

Sebastian was unlike anyone else, and being around Tessa was unlike anything he had ever experienced. It was true. He did see her as a superhero, he saw her as so much more than that. She was dead. It was his fault, and she was now literally bound to spend the rest of eternity with him. Not that he minded really, but how would he explain all of this. He didn’t care at this moment. He smiled softly as he locked eyes with Tessa once more. He, even in death, he had full belief in exactly what she was thinking and seeing, that yea, they could have some sort of reason for meeting, for knowing each other. It just all made sense to him even though he had never been more confused in his entire existence. He snapped back into the conversation as she asked more in regards to his statement. “Oh absolutely you’re a superhero. You’re brave and it doesn’t seem like anything gets to you. You care so much about me, and you don’t know a single thing about me yet…you’d be so invested and absolutely there for me…you’d also look incredible in an outfit like that. But yea—spandex..it definitely doesn’t seem comfy!” Seb laughed as he ran his hand through his hair.

He scrunched his face as she made a big deal about the fact that his statement would be something he’d regret. “Oh T, trust me, I’m literally dead. What am I gonna regret? It won’t kill me if someone finds out.” He chuckled softly as she teased. He watched as her lips danced I to a sweet smile; something that was becoming more and more frequent. It made him feel real again, like his moments weren’t fleeting, or repeating endlessly, they were legitimately real and he wasn’t a memory that would one day just cease to exist. “My girls though? They were good, and kind. They were just..good girls and knowing that, even though I…died.” A lump formed in his throat as he cleared it away. “They had a great life, they were good people. I did something right ya know?” He looked at Tessa and realized that he was probably being the most depressing person, and he flinched when she was about to touch him and he just, reacted it was all happening so fast, he couldn’t process it all. He felt his chest tighten as he looked up; realizing that his own actions were making her upset, something he was absolutely trying to avoid more than anything. “No—I’m sorry Tessa. I shouldn’t —I…” Sebastian pulled her in for a hug that could cure all pain and suffering, something he had been told for a very long time that he was good at and he didn’t care if anything was said , he just hugged them she hugged back and the world felt like it stopped. If only they knew what was about to unfold the pain that the two were going to experience together.

Sebastian let her speak, she was the one telling all now and he was honoured that she was even trusting him to hear her story and what happened to her sister. “Tessa—-“ then it was over, in what seemed like faster than it started, but little did she know they would literally have forever together to hear the story. There was even a chance she’d see her again; but the topic changed, and yet she was pushing the topic away, he didn’t let go, he was never the one to let go first. “You can always talk to me T, it’s not fair that it’s all about me. Conversations go both ways, but…when you’re ready.” He smiled softly squeezing back as she gave him a squeeze, he reciprocated. “So I’ve been told.” He gently traced his hand along her back. “You’re safe okay?” The hug ended as they pulled apart and in an instant his body was filled with anger. His body was boiling and he slammed the fists and then immediately felt apologetic that he scared her. “Tess—I’m sorry…” Seb took a shallow breath as he turned his attention back to her. “No—No Tessa you gave me answers. I know who killed me, and unfortunately I don’t think I’d ever actually get resolution, I had just hoped that if there was some…outcomes? I could have a chance of not being trapped in this place forever. But I mean..” she interrupted him by pointing at the photo of the one who had killed him. “That’s…That was Charles…or Charlie…he was the one…who killed me. He played martyr, when the police questioned him, he had a fantastic job, and well clearly since I didn’t have any information he obviously was cleared..” Sebastian sighed. “Why?” He tilted his head as he looked at Tessa’s face. He walked over to the armoire and pulled out a photo album. “We would spend our summers together. We were friends for a really long time…probably since primary school?”

Lillian's blood was boiling, "Just because i'm a doctor, doesn't mean you can wait til it's this bad to come to me!?" Lillian started rustling through her bag, "You're exhausting."

ImageImage

"please, don't be mad at me. i'm not good at dealing with people's anger." his voice was but a whisper, eyes cast down in shame. "i just thought it would heal on it's own. it's just a little cut. nothing too bad. i don't know why it's looking kinda blackish, though."

ImageImage

Lillian’s voice immediately softened, she was never the best at letting her anger get the best of her, and taking things slowly. She was quick to anger when it came to most everything. “I-I’m sorry, I’m not mad at you. I’m sorry. Let me take a better look at it okay?” Her hand gently reached over with a rubber glove that she placed on it. “B, how long have you had this…how did you get it. This looks infected.” Her voice was soft; and as gentle as she could possibly make it; though every part of her wanted to scream. “I need you to be as detailed as you can okay?”
