Jaejoong giggled at that revelation only to have it turn into a gaping stare. “What really? You didn’t figure it out until /that/ late?” He was actually stunned. When his husband decided to plop down on his lap, he moved his arms around his hips.

“I never get tired of hearing you say you love me.”

“Not really. I always thought the colour was linked with happiness. At the wedding everyone was happy but only you and I had yellow in our auras. That’s when it clicked.” He explained snuggling against his husband’s neck. At Jaejoong’s comment he smiled and added. “Good, because I won’t ever get tired of saying it, even if it’s only once in a while.”

Jaejoong was momentarily blinded by the sudden change in his sight but when he saw what the other was talking about, he felt his cheeks warm. As long as it took Leehom to admit that he loved him, who was he to question the strength of that love.

“You must have wondered why I was yellow all the time then.” He half heartedly joked. When Leehom revealed how he knew something was wrong, Jaejoong wrapped his arms around his neck, burying his face against his shoulder. “I love you so much. I can’t imagine life without you anymore… I’m so glad you came back home.”

“I just thought you were annoyingly happy.” He admitted with a small smile. “Only at the ceremony did I realize it wasn’t just that.” He admitted.

At the embrace the warlock decided to move, once again, and sat on the fallen’s lap, circling his arms around the other’s torso and leaning his head against Jaejoong’s shoulder. “I love you too.” He said without thinking twice and relaxing more against the other. “I’m glad to be home again.”

Jaejoong fell silent. “Well… not today. I only meant that I had barely seen the message before you appeared so I would have been more upset. I’ll be up front I was angry and brought someone home while you were away but I couldn’t even have meaningless relations it made me feel revolting. I killed him.” He looked away from the other, a nasty taste settling in his mouth at the memory of the male’s blood.

“I know that my words have a lot of impact on you and I try to keep that in mind, but my emotions can get the best of me some times. I honestly thought you weren’t coming back this time. I thought that you married me and then maybe regretted your decision.” He gripped the collar on his neck. “Even though this was still here.” He wondered if his soul shard had bothered Leehom at all with how irritable and upset he had been.

The warlock reach over to take the fallen’s hand and with a few murmured words his eyes turned white and his gift of seeing peoples’ auras was, momentarily, passed on to Jaejoong. “Can you see the yellow aura around me?” He inquired. “Can you see how strong and bright it is?” He continued. “Yellow means love. It took me a while to figure that out. And believe me, that colour and intensity as never waned since the ceremony.” He finished, pulling the gift from the fallen into himself.

“I don’t mind you bringing others here, especially since I disappeared without a word.” He commented before taking his own necklace from inside his shirt. “This never left my neck, even when it became heavy. When that happened I knew something was wrong with you and I knew it was time to come home whether I had everything I was looking for, or not.”

As Jaejoong’s lips begin a trail across his bare shoulders, and up the column of his neck, René hums softly, eyes closing as his head tilts back to expose more of his throat. As the sharp fangs sink into his neck, the vampire’s lips part with a soft gasp, fingers gripping Jaejoong’s broad back tightly, sinking the tips of pointed talons into the tan flesh.

The bite is only brief, and as Jaejoong mentions Leehom, René’s heavy eyes slowly open to glance over at him, feeling his hunger for mortal blood spike. Lifting his hand from Jaejoong, he extends it towards the warlock, slowly curling in his fingers, gesturing him closer and hopefully a lot less clothed as he enjoys the idea of two, warm bodies on his cool one. @jae-the-fallen @warlockxleehom

The warlock barely payed attention to what the fallen was telling René as he finished getting everything ready for the three of them, but when he looked back at the pair he was met with fingers curling, calling him closer to the pair. He gave a small smile towards the vampire and moved around the bed, in only his underwear, to get closer to them.

As he got closer he took the extended arm, wrapping his fingers around the wrist and giving a light kiss, where the veins were. He then placed it on his shoulder and tilted his head head to the side, offering himself to the vampire by baring his neck. @jae-the-fallen @mmxtters

“Oh.” Jaejoong pouted, of course his husband could spell the drink to keep it warm, how could he forget. “Well… you were about fifteen minutes from maybe having a worse reaction. I had only just come in here to see it a few minutes before you got back.”

He sat quietly for a moment. “I would have never hurt you, you know that right? But you’re right, I would have been really angry. To be honest I still am a bit angry, but I’m relieved, and happy too. It’s not a pleasant mix.” He laughed.

“Why do you say that?” Leehom asked lightly confused. “Don’t tell me you had someone over.” He joked.

“I know you would not hurt me physically but you have a certain gift that can hurt when you put enough intention behind it and your tone earlier let me know you were close to saying something that would hurt.”

“I’m glad you have faith in me because I don’t know what the hell I’m doing.” He smirked. “Jungkook didn’t have anything to do with the death. He’s pretty torn up about it actually.” He shrugged. He didn’t really talk too much with his wolf pup. The teenager was busy these days.

Jaejoong reluctantly pulled away, as if afraid that Leehom would suddenly disappear again if he did. He sat back down at the table and took the tea the other had apparently brewed him. “Why did you send a note with this if you were returning home so soon after brewing it?” He questioned.

"Then I'll try not to bring it up to him, and yes, I have all the faith in you to choose us a new house. We'll see how you did when you show them to me, but I'm sure we'll find our next new home." He assured the other as he watched him pull away and go sit down at the table.

Instead of going to sit on the other side of the table, Leehom floated the chair to where he was and sat down. "That tea has been sitting there for a couple of hours actually." He explained before giving a half smile. "Honestly? I sent that ahead of me because I was afraid you'd be too mad at me if I just showed up."

Jaejoong pouted. “There was a part of you missing, remember?” He pointed to the collar around his neck, given on their wedding day. “I uh.. I believe you.” He admitted and though he still wanted to be angry a little, he couldn’t help but feel happy and relieved that the other was back.

“I looked at new homes while you were gone but I didn’t end up picking anything because I couldn’t confirm it with you. I worried I’d overlook something.” He wrapped his arms around Leehom as well, nuzzling against his neck.

“My puppy visited twice while you were gone. I didn’t get to meet the new boyfriend he has but he mated with him so I assume that’s going well. I heard the kid that was an asshole to him passed away in a robbery. But I think that’s the only bad thing that happened while you were away.”

He chuckled lightly. "I meant more thank just that part." He specified and was glad the other believed in him.

The moment he felt arms around him he sighed, and seemed to melt against the other. "I'm sure one of them will be just perfect." He assured the other. "You can show me tomorrow. It'll be hard to say goodbye to this house, but I think it's appropriate since it's a new chapter in our lives."

"I'm glad he got rid of the other boy, but maybe not in such an extreme maner. And he mated someone? I'm happy for him, hopefully we'll be able to meet him some day." He added pulling back just enough so that their lips could meet. It felt like years since he last tasted his husband's lips.

Jaejoong looked up and sighed, “Yeah, I did…. had a few months to work on it.” He said bitterly but at the touch from his love, he couldn’t help but to soften a bit. “I could sense you weren’t in danger. I would certainly have known but I did worry. I had no idea what happened.”

He looked around at the home. Admittedly it was a bit dusty. Jaejoong only really went between the kitchen and the bedroom and bathroom. “Sleeping in our bed wasn’t quite right without you here.”

The softening on the fallen’s expression was the signal he was waiting for to embrace the other. "I really missed you." He said inhaling his husband's scent. "I didn't know how much I would be missing you. I thought this would be like any other work trip but I actually felt like there was a part of me missing."

The warlock tightened his hold on the other before continuing. "I know this must sound ridiculous, but it's really how I felt. Next time I'll be taking you with me."

Jaejoong had only just gotten to his feet when the other appeared in the doorway and he still hand his palms pressed firmly on the table, looking down at it. He gripped the table, refusing to look at the other for a moment.

After a long pause with tense silence, the fallen angel finally looked at the warlock. “You’ve got some nerve. And a hell of a lot of explaining to do.” He said simply. He would never raise his hand against the other no matter how angry he was. Not knowing what he went through, but he couldn’t keep the anger out of his voice.

He could see the colours in the fallen's aura and confirmed that the other was angry at him. His gaze was almost pleading as he slowly approached the other. "You grew your hair." He commented with a small smile. "It suits you. And the colour as well."

He walked around the kitchen table and when he was close enough he reached to touch one fallen lock before cupping Jaejoong’s cheek. "I truly am sorry. Work pulled me away from you for longer than I was expecting. I hope you didn't think I was captured again." He took a deep breath before adding. "I'm sorry if worried you."

A hot cup of his favourite tea sat at the kitchen table with a note, addressed to him, leaning against it. Inside it read: 'I am trully sorry. I don't know how to even start to make up to you, but let this be a tiny start. I love you.'

Jaejoong stared at the tea on the table as he read the piece of paper for probably the fourth or fifth time. He ran his thumb over the ink. “Why a note… where are you?” He mumbled, tipping back a shot of strong liquor. It had little effect.

He reached for the cup, feeling its warmth on his fingers and his claws gently clicked on the glass. He wanted, desperately wanted, to throw it against the wall but instead he simple left it sitting where it appeared, standing from the table with the chair screeching against the floor as it moved.

On the other side of the house a door opens and closes with soft sounds, followed by slow footsteps. He had been away from this place, from his loved one for so long. Too long. But he was hesitant. He knew his angel wouldn't hurt him physically, but it was the look of disapproval and possible disappointment that he was imagining seeing in his husband's eyes that had him walk slowly through his house.

He heard the screeching noise coming from the kitchen and stopped in his tracks for a second before resuming his way, now, towards the origin of the sound. "Jaejoong?" He called softly before reaching the kitchen.

At the sound of the fallen’s voice, Leehom looked up and turned his attention from the herbs he was collecting to the man not far from him. His lips turned up, in a gentle smile, as his cheeks turned a light shade of pink. He still couldn’t stop his body from reacting that way to Jaejoong’s words. He still wasn’t used to embrace his feelings towards the other. “I would say no, on most days.” He replied standing up and completely turning towards the other. His aura vision quickly appearing and letting him know just what he needed to know. “But right now I would say that I do. Your colours haven’t changed much since the wedding and, right at this moment you are almost blinding.” He added having to turn that power off or he was afraid he would actually become blind.

“Mm… It isn’t exactly abnormal. Sometimes they’re black, sometimes grey, sometimes white. It depends on how the angel has been affected by its surroundings. There are fallen angels still with white wings. Though they’re not as blinding white as in heaven.” He explained.

“When you were kidnapped my wings were solid black.” He added, though he quieted down to hear Leehom return the sentiment. “I will never get tired of hearing you say that. Or seeing you blush.” He grinned after the kiss. “So now I gotta keep an eye out for real-estate. Haha, I honestly half expected you to stick herbs in my face when I brought it up.” He said sheepishly.

He didn't know if his face could get any redder at the fallen's comment. "I'm sure one day this will stop happening." He said and pulled the fallen with him to the kitchen where he, then, started to prepare some tea. "To be honest, I haven't moved before because I never needed, plus it was a hassle having to take all the spells down and doing them once again in the new house. And as an added bonus it's always difficult to get people to show you houses at night. So, yeah, I don't mind changing houses if you'll be the one viewing them during the day."

When everything was ready he filled two mugs and sat at the table, sliding one of the mugs towards Jaejoong. "You can go search for new houses but I have some conditions." He began and slid a pad and paper towards to fallen. "It has to be a house. No apartments. It can have electricity but only a frige and washing machine, no other electronic. The kitchen has to be big, like this one. And at least two bedrooms and a living-room. And if possible a small garden." He said listing his conditions for looking for a new home.

Jaejoong smiled. “I see. I understand. But Leehom, you don’t have to show me every single aspect of your life. You deserve your privacy as well.” He hummed, looking at his wings as he stretched them. “I might gain more white feathers when I preen them.”

“And I can’t take all the credit. Though I have to admit I thank whatever holy being I can for the day that I targeted you. And if it wasn’t for your spunky personality I wouldn’t have had a challenge in trying to make you fall in love with me. I may have fell fast, but it was fun.” He smirked.

“Let me hear you say I love you.” He caressed Leehom’s cheek.

“I haven’t shown you every single aspect of my life, believe me. Though I suspect you know many aspects seeing that you were my guardian angel.” He said with a smirk towards the end, that only grew at the mention of new feathers. Nuzzling the fallen’s neck he continued. “New feathers? And with a different colour, Is that normal?”

“Yeah, Mel helped too but you were a big part of it.” He confirmed nodding slightly. “Yeah... well, I did my best.” He added jokingly and raising his head from Jaejoong’s shoulder.

The other’s request still had his cheeks turning red, even after proclaiming his love for the other on their wedding day. “I love you.” He said quietly before kissing the other.

Jaejoong smiled at how ridiculous Leehom was being but this didn’t mean that he was being insensitive. He hugged him tightly, kissing his forehead. “Are you ashamed of this?” He questioned easily.

“Because if you are, there’s no reason to be. This place, no matter what it might look like, is what shaped you to be who you are today. I just so happened to stumble into this house without my memories. But Leehom… I watched over you long before you even knew I existed, remember? I’ve seen you at your best, and your worst. And I still love you more than anything else.”

He kissed him, letting his wings unfold behind him. They’d turned back to their normal grey colors, with a bit of white sprinkled in here and there. “I’ll start looking for a house. Between the two of us, we can create spells just like this one or maybe even better.”

He shook his head at the question. "I'm not ashamed of where the house really is. I'm ashamed I never showed you sooner." He replied. "It doesn't matter that you got your memories back and remember exactly where the house is, I still hadn't shown you. We're married and still I hadn't shown you. That's what I was ashamed of."

His arms were holding onto the fallen just as tightly as he was being held. "It wasn't this place who actually shaped me i to the man I am today. You did. As cheezy as this sounds, you are responsible for softning me up so much I  ended up marrying you and  saying words I never thought possible I would ever say." He said kissing the fallen's lips, once again.

"You will forever be my angel, even it you never leave the definition of fallen." He commented. "I really love the white on your wings, love. "

Jaejoong scooted closer to him and leaned his head on his shoulder, one hand lacing the fingers with Leehom’s own. “I won’t make you move if you don’t want to. We could always find a place where we could have the house and the shops too, or we don’t have to go anywhere. I thought about your shops before I asked the question but I don’t exactly know how easy it would be for your to uproot and go somewhere else. That’s why I was hesitant to ask.” He smiled.

“It’s not a decision that needs to be made quickly. Or even at all. I only thought it couldn’t hurt to bring it up. After all, we need to communicate what we want to each other. And though I do want to move elsewhere, it’s not something that would hurt me if you said no.”

Leehom squeezed the fallen's finger's lightly. He heard what the other had to say in silence, taking everything in. When he was finished talking the warlock stood up and gently pulled the other with him. "Come with me." He said gently and walked them to the house's front door. He stopped there and took a deep breath squeezed the other's hand once more befor placing his free hand on the door and whispered a spell.

At first it seemed like nothing had happened, but the moment he opened the door and walked them through it what was in front of them was something he had never showned Jaejoong. The real place the house was in. It was a poor neighbourhood somewhere in a big city in China. The pollution was bad and the noise was another thing all of its own. "This is where the house really is. The spells I've put on it would prevent everyone to enter here and anyone that left through that door to get out here." He began explaining before moving them back inside, to get away from all the pollution and noise. "This is the real origin of the man you see in front of you. That spell was one of the first I ever did. It's so ingrained in me that it would only disappear if I ever died. So no, I don't have real attachment to this house. I just don't want to stop doing my jobs. If we can find a house with two extra rooms I think it would be okay." He admitted, feeling vulnerable allover again.
