Something else I really, really enjoyed about “The Jedi” is that the episode immediately and repeatedly established how powerful the lightsaber — the traditional weapon of a Jedi — is by showing it cutting cleanly through wood, metal, etc. and then showed, repeatedly, how strong the beskar — the traditional armour of a Mandalorian — is by having the lightsaber not make a dent in Din’s armour or the Magistrate’s spear. Real unstoppable force meets immoveable object shit.

In earlier episodes the little bean is essentially wearing a gown/robe/dress. In the latest episode we can see that it has been sewn closed into little pant legs. This means Din sat there sewing his son's little duds, while Grogu (still getting used to that) probably sat there watching, all wrapped up in a blanket. I'm dead. ☠

I’m absolutely HOWLING that the Mandalorion is LITERALLY all a side quest. We have a HUGE ASS PLOT going on in the background but they are focusing on NONE of it and instead said “also there’s a metal dad w a green baby just trying to Thrive” and all the Star Wars fans are frothing at the mouth trying to piece together the background Big Major Plot. Absolutely iconic of them I want those balls of steel
