Not to mention this is an act of solidarity. He’s saying “even if the entire world is against you, I’m on your side.” Which I think is important for a kid to know. He’s refusing to be a bully to his child, even if he doesn’t understand.

I work at Hot Topic and we had a white suburban dad in who was buying matching heavy metal/screamo band shirts for him and his teenage daughter and said “To be honest, I think this stuff sounds like garbage, but she likes it so we listen to it together and we’re going to the concert for Christmas.” And it was just really heartwarming to see him so involved in his child’s life and validating her interests.

Oh hey Tumblr...
So, it's been a while. I think the last time I was properly on here was before I went to America in November.
Since then Christmas passed, I was a nervous wreck waiting for my Honours results for a couple months, and the first month of January went by.
Wow.
Now I'm back and Tumblr has a billion fancy changes.
And all that I'm reminded on my dashboard is how much I want to look and dress like Taylor Swift, and how pissed off I am that I missed Mockingjay in cinemas.
I feel like I should really do something with my time, but so many things keep getting in the way.
For example, I get called up for an internship nearby for an interview and have to deny because I get called for fucking jury duty.
ANDDDD I get put on a trial that goes until next week sometime.
Cool, thanks, I've now probably missed my opportunity.
Also, one of the lawyers on this case is a fucking tool. It is going to take all of my strength to not jump out and run over and punch him right in his fucking smart ass rude yet annoyingly handsome face.
So that post covered a few random things.
