*Pinches cheeks*
“Nelyo, stop that, it hurts…!” He growled, swiping at the other’s hand.
“Your very existence hurts me, so fair is fair.” Smiles as he gives the cheeks a little pull.
-drops a spider in his ear-
-CRINGES- WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
It could probably still bite you
Its hardy big enough to bite a squirrel.
-drops a spider in his ear-
-CRINGES- WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
What does it look like?
-tries to swat the critter away.- I think I liked it better when I thought you were dead.
I liked it better when you were hanging off a mountain: life is full of disappointments
-Reaches out to strike him but…stays his hand.-
Hmm, I think the spider’s making a web
Hardly. -still trying to remove it though.- It can’t settle with all the movement.
Maybe it thinks it’s Ungoliant
Then it is sorely mistaken.

-CRINGES- WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!

“Hey, you awake?”
“I suppose I am now.” With a low grumble the elder brother rolled onto his side allowing the intruder some space.”Keep your frozen body away from me, I finally got warm.”
“I brought a fur.” Tyelko whispered in return, putting the sheepskin down on the pillows beside Nelyo, and curling up in it, threading his fingers between the hairs till his fists gripped around its edges. For a long while, he merely stared ahead, studying the outlines of Nelyo’s back, the strands of his hair that now seemed more black than red in the dim shadows.
Then, the boy inched forwards.
And then a little more, dragging the blanket higher.
Yet, he could not sleep; instead, he lay there with his eyes wide open, releasing silent breaths against his brother’s shoulder and indulging in the warmth that he offered; he was awake, and could not sleep, even if he tried. He would have gone to his father, but… He felt far too old for that. Too old, and he supposed he should have been grown-up by now, capable of dealing with whatever nightmares that would skim past the surface of his dreams; however, today, Huan was not there, and he could hardly bear the silence, every single rustle and creak too audible in the still, cool air.
“I cannot sleep.” he whispered at last, hoping that Nelyo will not spill the secret - for, to him, it indeed was a secret, one that was best kept just between the two of them.
Again he respond with an irritated groan, for a moment contemplating to just ignore the youth and try to sleep but…alas brothers can be insistent. Rolling over onto his back and staring up at the ceiling with half lidded eyes. “ Is there something you wanted to discuss? “ Perhaps if they just got it out of the way the boy would scamper off and leave him to sleep.
At first, Tyelko was reluctant to open up and speak, merely watching the stillness of the room, counting his breaths, and thinking about whether to say something, or remain quiet. A t last, he drew a deep breath.
“But you have to promise me you won’t tell anyone.” he whispered, waiting a beat before finally opening up in hushed mutters. “I woke up at night and… There was something heavy laying on me. I thought it was Huan, but there was nothing, and the whole room was empty. I could not move, and I heard something… Scratching… There was a shadow at the foot of the bed, I thought I saw it moving, it was tall…” Though his voice was quiet and nearly devoid of any intonation - he forced it to be - the memory, and the very real, distinct feeling that it had left in him, were disquieting at the very best. He closed his eyes and rolled over on his back, resisting the urge to lay his head down on Nelyo’s shoulder and wrap his arms around his neck. He was not a small child anymore. He was stronger than that, more fearless than that, not terrified like that.
“I don’t understand what you are trying to tell me.” There was concern in his voice. “Are you alright?” He sat up rather quickly ready to murder something if he had to! Perhaps an over reaction but, Nylo was a it high strung when it came to his brothers. At least in this point of their lives. Was someone trying to attack them. A beast perhaps? What?!
“Hey, you awake?”

“Yes. Was,” she said firmly as she sat down near him, hoping it would be clear that she didn’t want to discuss it. “..So does anybody else live near here, or is it just you?”
Alright, touchy subject, wouldn’t push it. “Depends. Some time my brother comes by…the twins. Though their visits have become spars..” He seem distant for a moment. Lost in the pat, but he shakes it off and smiles. “And you, do you have a place you call home?”
“Not really,” she shrugged, trying for a smile herself. “At least not for several years now. But I have been able to see more of Middle Earth than I ever thought possible.”
“I often thought to travel more, to see what little left of this world I have no But I can not bring myself to do so. “The guilt become unbarable at tmes. He had no right to taint those lands with his pressence. “I have become comfortable.”

“Perhaps some day...A, your food is gettuing cold. Please help yourself. There is plenty more. “ He found it amusing that they both seemed to be trying to hide.
