I wasn’t mad at my teacher for making assumptions but also I was frustrated I had to decide to correct him or not. which ties into the theme of “coming out is forever”

happy pride month, I’ve been busy working on merch, working a new day job and struggling with mental health stuff, but still here and queer

My friend was looking for a comic about asking pronouns so I just went ahead and made one. so here’s a hopefully helpful guide. Keep in mind not everyone is the same but most of my friends would rather be asked then misgendered. Although being correctly gendered is always the best feeling. But really help others out by correcting people or giving them a proper gender/pronoun affirming introduction when needed to save them the effort.

Also please don’t ask invasive questions, it’s none of your business unless they volunteer it.

It's trans day of visibility, so I just wanted to say how proud I am of all my friends who are living their lives and helping others by just being themselves. My life is enriched and better for every one of you. And to everyone who's not ready or can't be I love and support you and it's never to late, you are all strong as hell and beautiful inside & out. Special mention to Pris whom this comic was for and has been a constant comfort & support as my number one sad goth partner in supportive crying 🖤

BIG MOOD. only mood

My comic archive - https://tapas.io/series/ydiw

Hahaha, it’s funny because being gay is your only defining characteristic and you’d have the personality of wallpaper paste without it.

Or we’re just proud of the identity we’ve been shamed about and we want to express finally being able to embrace it.

Eh, good point, and as someone who’s bi themselves, I can see that. It’s not the message I’m annoyed about, just the fact that these posts are unfunny and redundant. I just don’t really care what other people’s preferences are in the end and don’t see it as interesting, but that’s just me.

Hey, my dude, you are entitled to your opinions about my work, you are entitled to not like my work. I would perhaps suggest its kind of a "dick move" to reblog someone's stuff with rude comments. But hey it's Tumblr people can do that, personally, I have better things to do but to each their own. I made my "gay mood" comic because I needed a break from working on a 6-page comic about the effects of sexual assault, sometimes I want to draw stuff that isn't about sad shit! So again, if you want to be rude to strangers on the internet, who might make things because they are depressed and want to draw something fun and be relatable to others, that's your choice.  But maybe you should find a more constructive way to feel better about yourself.

Live your best life dude. Also here are some more in-depth complex comics I have recently done about being queer because YES I have a lot of feelings about being gay “queer lifestyle

My second mini comic from my gumroad pdf collection, “Reclaiming time” where I discuss the little microaggressions that impede the daily lives of femmes. This zine is the kind I don’t post online and I sell mostly at shows.

Thank you for the support!

I have a new 8 paged mini comic completed for a show I working tonight, but I thought I’d try out offering my mini books which I don’t post online for purchase digitally. So for $1 you can support this unemployed queer artist and read about my constant fear of being murdered https://gumroad.com/l/Kdnfw

The rest of my comics are as always free to read on my tumblr or my tapastic site <3

Finally did a proper comic about “strong female characters” Its good comics and cartoons are finally representing some diversity. But most cartoons are still with a male lead, and films mostly are the worst example of strong females etc. (Although sarcastic mean girls are a special love of mine provided they are at least sort of decently written)

ALSO please note I am using examples based on stuff I like, its hardly the end all be all of character examples. There is a ton of current and not current stuff I could have used. But an excuse to draw characters I like is aesthetic and preference. (also I really liked Pacific rim so theres that.)
