Yup! You decide what pronouns you go by. In my case, I allow my family to use she/her pronouns for me because it's too emotionally exhausting for me to correct them all the time. (Just so you know, we try to use she/her and he/him instead of "female" or "male" pronouns because some people who aren't male/female may use those pronouns)

Hi, I know you have a ridiculous amount of asks, so I'm sorry for adding to them. But I do have a question. Do you know of any tips for a DIY binder for a nonbinary (agender) person who's a little on the heavier side? (My parents aren't transphobic, but they also don't believe in anything more than male, female, and trans, so I can't order one) I know you're not supposed to use ace bandages, and everything I've tried has caused fat spillage. Any suggestions? -Rai
My best suggestion is to try getting one or more compression sports bras! I'm like a DD or E cup and the method of layering more than one sports bra on top of each other helps me to look pretty flat. Make sure you know your cup size to best choose a sports bra that will fit you! And treat it like a regular binder too, because it does still cause compression. Don't wear the sports bras layered for too long and if you feel any pain, dizziness or shortness of breath, go to a private place where you can take all the layers off safely.#mod wren #mobile #binding
I'm AFAB, and sometimes feel like a trans guy, but other times I feel like a demigirl. (I currently ID as genderfluid) But when I'm male, I'm much more feminine than when I'm a demigirl. Is this normal?

At first I thought I was transmale, but then I realized I don't mind my feminie personality traits, or being feminine in general. So, I thought I was nonbinary. But now I'm confused, since what if I'm just... Not a gender?
You could be agender, which falls under the nonbinary umbrella!
so i've chosen a gender neutral name that i've gone by since around november but recently i see other names and want them more than the one i have now. my struggle is that my teachers and friends all call me this name right now and it feels weird changing it out of now where.
It’s your name, so it’s up to you! but it may take a while for some people to change it and some people may even be upset at you changing your name “too much”. Make sure you’re sure on the name you want so you don’t confuse people, and remember no matter how often you change your name, you’re still valid.

Well, as long as you identify with something other than your gender assigned at birth, you can use the term transgender. As for your mother refusing you getting a binder, can you afford it yourself? If you can, you could always order one and have it shipped to a a trusted friend’s house.
(jsyk “biologically [gender]” isn’t really a term that’s really accepted in the transgedner community and it can be seen as offense. Try using afab and amab instead (assigned female/male at birth) )
Hi, are there abbreviations for someone who is afab but nonbinary? like FtM but nb so FtX or FtN or something?
I’ve definitely seen FtX used, but it’s not as common as FtM, so if you`re using it, you may want to let people know what it means!
Hey do you have any tips for coming out for someone who really isn't sure of their gender? I want to be able to present as masculine for a while to figure it out but whenever I think of telling my parents I get really nervous. I know I'm safe from physical abuse and the like and that my parents don't consider themselves transphobic but I don't know if they'd believe me and I'm worried my mother especially would misgender me when we fight.
Unfortunately anon, I would suggest not coming out until you feel like you’re sure of yourself. That way, if there’s any confusion you can explain without a doubt how you’re feeling and it won’t lead to any misunderstandings. And just so you’re aware, purposely misgendering someone in a fight as a way to hurt them is a form of emotional abuse. Make sure you can stay as safe from abuse as you can.
That said, take your time and come out when you feel ready. You don’t HAVE to have it all “figured out” before you do, just in my personal experience it’s made things easier if i know what’s going on with myself so i can answer questions about it.

Hi there!(from the wording of this asks I’m assuming you’re AFAB, correct me if I’m wrong. )Your gender and your interests/how you dress aren’t the same same thing! You can be female and enjoy presenting masculine and liking masculine things and be completely valid! It all has to do with what you are comfortable identifying with.If you feel like you are somewhere on the male spectrum but you don’t want to transition, there is always the term Demi, or in your case Demi-boy. This term means that you identify as a boy sometimes, or just kind of a boy but not fully while being paired with another gender.I hope this helped, stay safe! -Harley
