i have no idea.... i used to keep an evernote for myself back when i made edits but i think i saw maybe like a wikia page a year ago? maybe some other skip beat blog can help you im so sorry

i’m so sorry honestly it’s too much work and i just don’t find the energy to do it plus my photoshop broke down and i have no money to buy it lol....i do miss it sometimes though.... whenever i read a chapter and see a good scene my first thought would be “ohhh this would make an awesome edit!”

but i am so happy to see so many skip beat blogs going strong

to all the gif requests i received: I had to have my laptop fixed and now all my stuff is gone including the skip beat videos i had so i am very sorry but i cannot make any gifs at the moment! It will take a while until i can find the time to re-download them

the gifs? you will need photoshop for the way i make them. Although I think that there are a few websites that let you make them online? anyway, my process is pretty similar to this one. when i first started though, i pretty much did it like this one, since it is a lot simpler. but the first one let’s me be more precise with the frames. Play around a bit on photoshop and search for a few tutorials. i’m sorry i couldn’t be of more help.

Skip Beat Contest

To celebrate skip-beat-manga reaching 1000 followers (back in February) & to celebrate this blog’s 1 year anniversary (in April), we decided to start a small contest and you can even win amazing Skip Beat! merchandise!

The Skip Beat! community is one of the most passionate and talented groups out there.  To honor that, we’re making this an interactive experience!  Three winners will be pulled from the catagories below.  We cannot wait to see what you have in store for us!

» Rules

  • You have to be 18 years old or older.
  • You must be following skip-beat-manga​.
  • You must reblog this post. Do not delete or change the text. Likes do not count and multiple reblogs will NOT give you a better chance of winning. So, just reblogging once is enough (even though we would appreciate any additional reblogs^^).
  • Category 1 (1 winner): Send a Skip Beat confession via the ask form. Tell us your opinion and thoughts on the manga. What do you think about the latest chapter? What is your favorite arc and why? These are just examples, just tell us anything you have on your mind and we will put your quote on a manga cap. (Confessions will be posted on our blog on a Sunday. Depending on how many confessions we get, it might take several weeks until yours is posted.) Please only send confessions that inlcude the manga version of Skip Beat, because this blog is focusing on the manga (not anime or live action).
  • Category 2 (2 winners): Besides a confession, you can also post an original edit: a picture story, or a SB! based meme. To get a hang of the feeling what we mean by “picture story” just take a look at our tag picture stories: Your edit has to include several SB! manga caps and some kind of text (lyrics, a quote, a specific quote from SB!, a meme kind of text). Please post your edit on tumblr and tag it as skip beat contest, so that we can easily find it. It has to be one of the first five tags, otherwise it might not be shown in the tag!
  • You are allowed to participate in both categories.
  • You are allowed to submit up to 3 entries per category.
  • Your ask box must be open, so we can contact you in case you are selected as a winner.

» Evaluation & Winners

  • After the deadline, we will let you know how long it might take us until the winners are decided.
  • We randomly pick one winner among all participants for Category 1. The winner gets two A5 file folders.
  • We are two admins, so for Category 2, each of us decides on our personal favorite entry. Thus, we will have two winners for Category 2. Among both winners, we randomly pick who gets which set. Set 1 includes one pencil board and four button pins. Set 2 consists of one poster, one bookmarker set and one Hana Yume cover.
  • After informing and announcing the winners, we will ship all items within one week. Depending on the destination, time of delivery varies by country but we will let the winners know the estimated time. We will take care of the shipping costs, of course.
