Our 1.4 million leads is already picked down to 1.3 and there’s just over 24 hours left to this vote before it’s done.

Remember all those beautiful vacation pictures? BLESS. Those were what we had to go on until we got this lovely trailer. And this kiss, and this lovely house, and THIS KISS and just… the beginning of 4x01 was such an amazing gift that it was very easy to believe it was something we could keep. But of course we couldn’t. The “job” isn’t done. Not Oliver’s hero work (and Felicity’s), and not their development as a couple. It’s easy to say “why couldn’t they stay here and be happy” but of course they couldn’t. This wasn’t perfect. Felicity wasn’t fulfilled. Oliver would have grown resentful. They had to go back. Ivy Town was a mirage, it wasn’t any more real than Damien Darhk’s underground ark town was. And that’s the whole point. This was just a stopping point. But lord, it was beautiful while it lasted.

Look how cute and normal this house is. With the pictures, and the tv and the furniture. Do you think they picked out all that furniture together? And then there’s Felicity, sitting on the counter and trying to cook an omelet. She’s trying god bless her. And Oliver finds that more charming than anything. He loves that she wants to please him but the best thing she can do is just be with him. This is such domestic crack right here. I’m so glad we got to see a glimpse of it!
