When you find someone who truly ‘gets’ you, not just someone who listens to you or is nice to you, but someone who truly understands you without you having to say a word, hold on to them. No matter what happens, no matter how complicated life gets, don’t let them go. [x]

Why’d you go? I couldn’t lose you.

“I love working with Melissa. Everything we do is just fluid, it’s real. When we opened that door in rehearsal, both of us were breaking down in tears. […] Everything she does is just magic.”
“Daryl has watched her go through that struggle of not being able to kill. If she’s losing herself, what’s the point? He cares more about her than anything, so he lies. […] He’ll lie just to protect her. He cares more about her than he does anything.”

Shut up.
good morning especially to carol peletier who just had a real ass smile for the first time in 249354 years and it was at her husbands corny ass joke
Let’s talk about how Carol’s holding him for a second. Like she doesn’t want to let go. Like she’s finally come home again. Even though she told Morgan not to tell anyone where she was she is so relieved to see Daryl, she doesn’t want to let him go because she fears if she does she’ll lose him. And to lose Daryl, that’s her worst nightmare. Even after everything she finds home in Daryl’s arms (and vice versa).

Norman Reedus: I don’t even know if that hug was in the script. Our first rehearsal of that scene, everyone was crying. Everyone on set was waiting for that to happen. We were waiting for it to happen as much as everyone on the show was. Everyone was like, “F—, finally.”
