a little bit of reckless behaviour.

“okay, i might not need another one, but the question is: why not? every time i get a new dog my heart grows another size or two. don’t worry, there’s still some room for you in here. what? excuse me? i love my children all the same, you freak. khloe is still hella problematic too, so i mean… it’s tough.”

               “ maybe you shouldn’t get another one then, if your heart gets too big it might burst and that would just be a mess. i won’t be cleaning it up, thats’ for sure. oh god, don’t liken me to one of your dogs with a place in your heart. i deserve more than that ! i don’t think that’s true, you know you have a favourite dog -- even kylie has a favourite dog. the one that you pay the most attention too. of course she is, they all are but at least khloe is funny. ”

adrian let out a small empty laugh, his nerves weighing down on his shoulders though he held his head tall with false confidence. “so that’s really the first thing you say to me after ten months? heh. why am i even surprised?” he rhetorically asked, taking a seat in the chair across from bentley he had been eyeballing upon entering the starbucks. 

               “ yup, ” the male hummed, popping the ‘p’ and sipping slowly at the coffee in his hands. he simply didn’t have anything to say to the male before him, nor had he had anything to say in the past ten months. if anything bentley had taken his sweet time in writing the other out of his life all together. “ st. barts is always lovely this time of year. ” he’s not about to discuss anything of real importance.

‘ yes, they’re so fucking annoying. oh wow, you…really think people think that? ‘

          “ if they’re not in a rush to get out of your bed when the deed is done, then yeah, they must think exactly that. ”

“we’ve had this conversation, ben. i’m not naming my dog after you. unless, of course, you get me a new dog and then i’ll consider it. don’t worry, i won’t - i just find her life to be very peculiar to watch.”

               “ you don’t need another dog, i mean, i don’t know how you have enough love for them all now. i’m sure there’s got to be some sort of favouritism going on in that house of yours and in which case i feel bad for the other three pups, not getting enough of your love. khloe is the best one of them all. ”

        bentley wrapped his hands around the hot mug of coffee as he leaned back in his chair, assessing the person before him with a flat expression. even over a year into this thing and he still wasn’t used to fucking camera’s following him around. it was even more bizzarre when people stopped him on the streets -- or like now with faces pressed to the starbucks window. “ god, i want to get away. ” he spoke at last. though, he’d only just returned from the maldives and his tan hadn’t even begun to fade.

“If you’re coming to tell me it’s too early to be drinking, you should fuck off. I’m already on my third one.” 

          “ i was just going to suggest you hand one over, i’ll save you from drinking alone. ”

“i don’t care what you think, i do need four different dogs. i’m a lonely guy in a big house. it’s either that or i’m gonna start inviting random people to live with me, kylie jenner style.”

          “ it’s only alright if you’ve named one of them bentley, the cutest one -- of course. but word of advice, don’t try and be anything like kylie jenner, ever. i would have to terminate our friendship. ”

i swear to god if one more guy tries to play the ‘falling asleep’ trick after boning, i’m going to reach over and snap their neck. it’s my fucking bed, stop taking up the room and get in your uber. so annoyed, ugh.

          “ people really do that? interesting. i mean, maybe you don’t give off the hit it and quite it vibe like you should. perhaps you’ve got them all thinking they stand a real chance with you. ”

“okay, hear me out, i love stranger things as much as the next person does, it was amazing. but, the get down? deserves just as much attention. it’s literally the best show of all time. i need an ezekiel. and if you haven’t watched it, then i don’t know what you’re waiting for.”

          “ i haven’t seen either of them, honestly. where do you find the time to sit down and watch netflix -- let alone get through full series? like multiple of them? it would take me weeks to even just get through a season of something. not to mention that by the time i get to watch the second episode i’ve lost interest. ”
