not sure if this matters or anything, but the celebrity is male in this particular scenario, just because those were the pronouns used.

“Ah, he’s such a pretty man.” ____ sighed to no one in particular, not noticing Levi walking into the room. He looked at them with a deadpan expression, knowing exactly who they were talking about. Some new heartthrob celebrity that had been all the talk had stolen the hearts of many, including Levi’s partner.

The man usually had very good patience, especially when it came to his lover’s interests. It was in his best interest that they were happy, so he usually didn’t question the things they were into. In fact, when they first showed him the countless pictures of the celebrity, he couldn’t have cared less. It made them happy, so what?

But no, it was like that guy was the bane of his existence. Levi didn’t really understand how his partner could get so immersed in a person they had only seen through a screen.

He’d caught them ogling at him many times, and whenever they smiled at their phone it was a telltale sign that they had once again seen something to do with the beautiful man. “Him again, huh?” Levi sighed, sitting on the opposite end of their shared couch.

___ jumped a bit at his sudden appearance, feeling their body temperature rise at the small sequence of events. “Y-yeah! I was just watching some clips from a charity concert he did recently.” Even though Levi had never personally expressed his distaste to the celebrity to them, they found it quite apparent that he didn’t enjoy their... extreme interest in him.

Their beloved nodded curtly, eyes focused on the television they had been ignoring due to their interest in their phone. It was turned onto a popular news and pop culture network, something Levi didn’t particularly enjoy.

He reached for the remote, getting ready to turn the channel when a certain man popped up on the screen. Without looking at them, he could hear ___’s slight gasp before feeling their gaze on him, silently praying that he wouldn’t change the channel. Grinding his teeth together, he set the remote down, slightly glaring at the young man who had taken over not only his partner’s life, but his own TV.

“How does it feel knowing you’ve stolen everyone’s heart?” The interviewer asked, a fake smile plastered on her face. The man laughed before leaning into the microphone someone held toward him. “Ah, I wouldn’t go that far!” He laughed, eyes crinkling upward due to how big he had been smiling.

“Oh, but all the jealous boyfriends and girlfriends would!” She teased him. He looked slightly uncomfortable, as is all of the threatening messages he had received from jealous couples had appeared before his eyes at once.

Levi felt himself slowly loosening the grasp of his cool. The small interview had set him off, and his partner could tell, almost as if he emitted a dangerous aura. “Please don’t be jealous, hon. I love you and only you.” ___ pouted, crawling over to his part of the couch. He glared at them, bothered by the fact that they assumed that he was jealous even though he knew he was.

“Don’t look at me like that.” They sighed. “Sorry I can’t smile like your charming heartthrob.” He shot back, one eyebrow raising upward in a silent challenge for them to counter back.

Oh, and they did counter back. In their own way of course. ___ lunged forward to kiss his lips, not clinking teeth by some miracle. Levi didn’t refuse, but he did tease them a bit, because he felt like keeping some integrity. When they pulled back both of them were slightly shorter of breath.

“I’m glad you don’t smile like some generic pop star. Surprisingly, your resting bitch face is a lot sexier.”

___ had had that stupid grin on their face forever. It made Levi a bit uneasy, not knowing what they had been holding up their sleeve. What in the world were they trying to do?

The both of them had been walking through the halls of the castle, checking up on cadets and doing small chores. Both of them basically had the day off, but it seemed as if there was never a time when there wasn’t something that needed to be done.

“You look stupid with such a big smile on your face. What’s up?” The man asked, looking at them from the corner of his eyes. ___ only hummed melodically, looking at him questioningly. “I don’t know what you mean. Why can’t I just be happy?” His partner shot back, their innocent grin turning a bit devilish.

Levi sighed in exasperation. “Whatever.” They continued their trip through the halls, saying hello to fellow employees and even a couple of cadets. During that time Levi was getting increasingly antsy, not comfortable with his partner not telling him what they were so happy about.

“Levi, can you hold this for me?” They asked. Their hand was enclosed into a tight fist, making him wonder what they were holding. However, he didn’t bother to ask, simply holding out his hand. Instead of them dropping an item into his open palm, they only held his hand, making him glare at them. “Really? This is what you’ve been waiting to do?” He asked in an unimpressed manner.

“It must’ve been worth the build up, old man. You’re not letting go of my hand now, are you?”

Jean:

Erwin’s partner was getting short. He was sort of thankful for that, because he knew immediately when he revealed the tickets to them, they would apologize profusely for being mean to him.

“Please tell me what’s going on. You said you had a surprise right when I woke up and it’s six, Erwin,” They whined, a pout forming on their lips as they cuddled up into his side. The man smiled mischievously, slinging his arm around their shoulders before sighing. “Alright, alright,”

He lifted his hips off of their couch, digging his hand into the back pocket of his pants before pulling two pieces of paper out. He spread both of them out, putting them where his partner could inspect them. They gasped, hesitantly reaching for the tickets before looking to Erwin for approval. The man nodded his head, watching as they speechlessly observed the tickets to Disneyland.

“Oh wow, I’m so sorry for pestering you about this. I can’t believe this!” ___ exclaimed, throwing their arms around the other man’s body before pecking his cheek.

Levi knew his partner would not only be surprised, but extremely appreciative as well. Everyone knew he was never the type to do something so generous out of the blue, but he decided that if anyone deserved to go on a trip to Disneyland, it was his ___.

“___, Get down here,” The raven haired man called from the lower level of their shared house. He could hear their disheveled groan from the top of the stairs. He decided to take a seat at their dining table while he waited.

“What’s so important that you couldn’t come up and talk to me yourself?” They sighed irritably, making their way down the carpet covered stairs. Levi scoffed at their attitude, thinking deviously about how bad they’d feel for their choice of speech when he presented their surprise.

“Will you go get that book over there for me?” ___ gave him a look of disbelief, wondering if that was really why he called them all the way down. Nonetheless, they stomped over, picking the book up only to see two tickets to Disneyland tucked under it.

They accidentally dropped the book, picking up the tickets and looking to their boyfriend. Levi nodded, smirking lightly as they ran over to him to give him a hug.

Eren had barged into his partner’s room quickly and without knocking, making their body jerk so unexpectedly they almost fell off their bed. ___ frowned at him in annoyance as he smiled impishly, chest rising and falling rapidly from his run.

“Did you run all the way here? You have a car.” They teased, scooting over so he could take a seat at the foot of their bed. “It’s in the shop. Anyway, this is important! I have a surprise!” Eren exclaimed once he caught his breath. The whole air of his personality was very energized, and his partner was able to tell that he was very excited over whatever he planned on telling them.

“Oh yeah? What’s that?” ___ inquired. On cue with their question, Eren shoved his hand into the pocket of his jeans before pulling out two slightly crumpled pieces of paper. The chocolaty haired boy smiled as he threw one onto their chest, letting them pick it up and inspect it.

___ went quiet for a second before laughing, throwing their blanket off of their body and wrapping their arms around Eren’s neck. “Eren Jaeger, I can’t believe this! Thank you!” His partner smiled, leaning back slightly to put pecks all over the side of his face.

Farlan had received many weird looks from his partner throughout the whole day. It had been one of those days where both of their schedules were void of anything that kept them from being apart.

The ashen haired boy had been smiling a lot more than usual, and he had been walking with a weird pep in his step, but despite their constant questions about his mood he refused to tell them. Pretty soon he was walking them back home, sitting in their common room and watching random movies.

“You know, I’m sort of sad you won’t tell me what you’re so happy about.” ___ teased, smiling up at him from their spot against his chest. “Oh! You’re right. Here, let me show you.” Farlan smiled, remembering the surprise he’d gotten for them. He pulled out his wallet, pulling out a Disneyland ticket and handing it to them, keeping his own in the leather wallet.

“Are you serious?” They asked, just short of shouting. Farlan laughed, smiling proudly at them and nodding. ___ looked at him with wide eyes, leaning up to kiss him before cuddling back into his chest. “Best boyfriend ever,” They whispered.

Mike had always been a quiet man. ___ didn’t really think it would be possible for him to get even more quiet than he already was, however, they had been proven wrong that day. Usually, whenever they asked him a question or talked to him, he’d give them short answers.

Instead, whenever they talked to him today the man only responded with mute nods. With his unusual behavior, ___ had begun to think the worst as the day progressed.

By evening, they were sad, a small frown poking at their lips as they looked down at the ground. Was Mike bored with them? Did they do something to irritate him without knowing. Their head was flooded with various bad thoughts they didn’t notice their boyfriend saying their name. “____.” Mike said for the third time,

“Huh?” They asked, looking up at him. His face was as stoic as ever, and for some reason they took it as a bad sign. “I’m sorry! Did I do something wrong?” ___ asked, eyes full of guilt. Mike looked surprised, but he shook his head no. “Not at all.” He said, stuffing the ticket into their hand. They looked at him questioningly, observing the piece of paper.

“You dummy! You had me worried you didn’t like me anymore! Gah, you really are a good guy.”

Erwin smiles broadly at them, encouraging them to speak different languages around him more often. He thinks all languages are beautiful, and while he might be a bit sad that he doesn’t understand it, he still thinks it’s pretty to listen to.

Hanji gets super excited when he hears them talk in a different language, so she’d just start spewing small random words and phases in multiple different languages to try and impress them too.

Levi probably pretends them speaking a different language around him annoys him, but it’s really because he can’t figure out anything they’re saying and he’s too proud to ask them what it means.

Mike doesn’t react much. He’ll probably nod along, and when they’re done he’ll probably ask them to tell him what they were saying.

Armin loves it so much! It’s so refreshing to hear foreign tongue. If they’re fluent, and it’s not something he’s very familiar with, he’ll most likely ask them to teach him a bit of it.

Reiner:

Hanji definitely would! she’s picky with what she watches, however. It’s either a super gore-y or psychological horror anime or a very happy high school club anime. There’s not much in between.

I feel like Eren would indulge in some anime if he’s feeling bored or stressed, but would prefer a slice of life anime such as nichijou, daily lives of high school boys, or lucky star. Something laid back and enjoyable.

Hitch likes to watch anime as well. She likes ghost like and paranormal anime, things that get the heart pumping. Real life things scare her too much, so she finds that when it’s animated it gives off the just the right amount of blood pumping.

Reiner also watches some, but just the super well known ones like Naruto and Fairy Tail. He prefers action, and he usually only watches it when he’s alone or has things to do and needs something to listen to that isn’t music.

“I can’t believe he’s gone,” They whispered. Jean had told them what he’d seen, and even though it had been hours ago, those were the first words they had spoken since. It made Jean’s heart break even more, because no his other friend was just as broken as he was, and his best friend was no longer with them.

Jean didn’t trust himself to talk. At all. So instead, he only nodded, head down, looking more interested in the way his hands were folded in his lap than he should’ve been. He heard a soft sob leave their mouth, and he was thankful he wasn’t looking at them. The boy knew he wouldn’t have been able to handle the way the sound wracked their body, the way their eyes would water and how their lip would quiver in a desperate attempt not to cry.

Despite knowing that it would diminish his resolve, the amber eyed boy lifted his head to look at them. Their eyes were connected to the wall behind him, tears leaking out the corner of their eyes as they tried to calm themselves down. The sight was heart wrenching, letting a whole new set of tears wash down his already stained cheeks.

“I’m so sorry,” He hiccuped, shoulders jumping from the force it had on his body. His voice sounded ugly, covered in thick saliva and sadness and tears all balled up into a grotesque mess of grief. Their lips quivered as they closed their mouth tightly, shutting their eyes for a second. ___ nodded their head no.

“It wasn’t your fault. You know that,” They whispered, shifting forward to set a hand on his knee to comfort him. He could feel the warmth through the material of his pants, which made him feel a bit better. It was better to be a weird, sobbing mess than to be completely numb, he guessed. Jean refused to say anything. Not because he didn’t trust his voice, he knew it was there, but he didn’t believe them.

Sure, maybe it wasn’t his fault directly. But Marco was dead, and he knew that he could’ve done something. If only he’d made sure that the freckled boy had stayed by his side and didn’t wander off.

“Please tell me we’ll get through this. Please tell me it gets easier from here on out.” Jean sighed, tired from all the emotions and tears his body excreted for the last twenty four hours.

___ sighed sadly, but a small smile peeked at their lips. “I can’t tell you if it gets easier or not, because I’m in the same boat as you. But I can tell you we will get through this, together. That’s how things are supposed to be, and that’s how Marco would want it. We can’t drift away and ignore the problem.” Jean grimaced the moment Marco’s name was mentioned, but he nodded in agreement.

“Thank you for staying.” He mumbled, two toned hair swaying as he got to his knees. Once he was up, he leaned forward to wrap his arms around their body and bury his face into their neck. “I’m not sure if I could get through this alone.”

I doubt Levi would beat the shit out of them. Maybe if there weren’t any attachments between them he may, but since he is his partner are, in fact, together, he’d probably just resort to talking super bad about them and doing everything he can (with reason) to get information out of them.
