— Changes had happened just as quickly & silently as a midnight snow, blanketing the ground by morning. The book shoppe had grown eerie, as if the books had hidden themselves away, the plants whisked away in the night. A ‘for sale’ dawned itself upon the glass door, replacing the open and closed sign. The apartment within the city was much the same, the housing unit clean and crip, not a speck of existence left, as if his soul and leaves of green had never graced the building. He had left without much word, he knew; but it was time again, with fall & winter to follow growing closer and the lands to hibernate and rest as he became the whispers of the forest once again, the guardian in his heavenly plane, to return again another day. . .

Leaves descended gently to greet the earth, to join her, to be cradled by the calmness of her as gentle winds caressed the blades of green that cloaked and comforted the soils below and gave home to small creatures that roamed.
Junmyeon was entranced, watching nature move and sway in her own eternal ways; it was a happening he had witnesses for nearing a thousand years—but it was never something that failed to capture his mind and wrap him in a comfort he feared that at times was long passed. His thoughts began to wander, as they often did, again and again, to the days where he would stare out a palace window, to the trees or the delicate garden below before his attention would be snapped away by another human being.But within the moment, rather than being torn from his thoughts, he was drawn away by a gentle voice of a girl, his eyes blinking to realize once more where he was standing, the era he belonged in fading into the modern surroundings of ‘today’. The deity turned, his eyes catching sight of where the melodic voice resonated from—pausing for a moment, his mind still confused, boggled, stumbling over itself. He could have sworn he had seen her long ago, or another just like her; an expression of surprise forming over normally gentle features, his mind attempting to process the details, though a conclusion could not be found.

He was a supposedly all knowing being, but in the mortals society, in that moment, he was the equivalent to a small child whom had lost their way in an expansive store. ❝Um, excuse me...? ❞ he called out to a nearby form, a gentle and friendly smile forming on his lips, greeting them with a small bow of his head. ❝Could you by any chance tell me how to get to here, please? ❞ with his inquiry, he held out a well detailed drawing upon aged paper of a palace; it was one he knew very well, but with all the new, it was harder to seek out from the city than he had thought.
