EDIT 1/4/24: unfortunately, the original case manager got back and emailed me saying that, essentially, they need info from a trusted nonprofit or something along those lines to move forward with the transfer. It's fucking bullshit and it's unfair, especially when we we really thought it'd work out, but at this stage, it looks like our only choice is to move forward with refunding everyone and re-donating to ahmed's ko-fi and paypal:

Last night was terrifying. Latest news: The occupation army is forcing residents of the central region to move to the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip. Knowing that the city of Rafah can only accommodate 250,000 people, and now there are 1,300,000 people, I do not know where we will go next.

Day 18 and we still a live. Our wish back to our normal life before the 7th of October. Is it hard for the whole world to stop the genocide more than 5000 people killed by Israeli airstrike most of them are kids and women more than 1500 dead still under the rubbles. All the hospitals in gaza strip out of medical supplies and no fuel with more than 20000 people are injured need health care. the situation catastrophic more than you can imagine. 70% of gazans are homeless now including me and my family. We are without electricity without water or food. Women's started taking pills to cut off their period because there's no pads.
