PRIMER: HD Skin for All Ages (Baby-Elder)

This is a brand new skin, but should suit sims made with Starfruit, as I try to keep my face textures neutral enough to work with a wide variety of features. Everything, from the ears to the fingernails and genitals, has been painted and tweaked to the best of my ability. It’s still not perfect, but if I don’t share this now, I never will.

I am sharing this in a variety of resolutions so you can pick the quality level appropriate for your game - the non-defaults will not conflict, and the ramps are labeled with the quality level so you can easily compare. 

The elder bodies are not included in the default versions. Elders will instead use my adult body textures. This is because by default, EA shares the same body texture for teens through elders. You can only have unique teen/elder body textures with non-default skins.

*4/23/2017* For anyone spotting this download for the first time, I’d like to add that after numerous, numerous attempts at editing the specular to produce greater in-game effects, I haven’t been able to produce a worthwhile result. You’re free to download this and try it for yourself, but I would keep expectations at a minimum. Currently debating deleting this altogether. This makes a minuscule amount of difference in that it has less glare than EA’s smeary default, however, that’s about it.  

*UPDATED 2/26/16* So, it seems that the face specular can also impact the eye mesh. My original version of this mod may have caused a slight sheen on the iris. Thanks to @buckleysims, I’ve corrected this issue.  Please re-download! I apologize for the inconvenience. 

HD Specular Default Replacement (1K Faces & 2K Bodies)

Primer’s texture has been mixed with EA’s maps and details have been adapted from Buhudain’s normal maps. Scalps, faces and bodies are all included to ensure seamless shine. Just like You Are Real, this should enhance the appearance of all skins that do not include custom specular maps. This is intended to complement Buhudain’s mod, not replace it. I use this with You Are Real. Ultimately, specular changes are pretty subtle, and the difference is better captured in motion than in a single image. All screenshots were taken with this replacement installed.

LEATHER HEART is an accessory for young adult/adult/elder females only. Converted from ATCsims/Pastel–sims’ Marie Rose necklace conversion and recoloured in 6 colours. (it is of around 1.4k polycounts)

hey look! i finished the thing!

so this is leahlillith’s melanie hair (original here) converted for ts2. available for f and m sims, child to elder (the toddler stage i tried to do looked horrid so i scrapped it). comes in the 40 colors above. some are solid, some are dual tone.

the mesh is not perfect; you will see some mild alpha problems on the right side. there is also a small piece of geometry poking through the back. both issues are very small and hard to notice unless you’re really close to the sim in question.

let me know if there are any issues, because i’m still very inexperienced at cross-game converting.

I had to put my other projects on pause for the night to put this together. It’s DeeDee’s 3t2 conversion of Anubis’ ‘Dawn Allure’ made full-body with Doc Martens, converted to TF + EF (texture referenced as always), & recolored 8 times.

Hi, I bring you Cloud Puff retexture. Original hair is by Moddish Kitten, converted by AngelLuvJoy. I used textures by Nouk, but I think I got them via Azaya’s retexture here. 18 colors in total, including two separate greys and eight unnatural colors. Shrapnel, as usual, is binned as brown. Mesh included.

hi, long(ish) time no post! in typical fashion, here is a random download! it’s 16 recolors of trapping’s/tombstoneoflifeanddeath’s cowl neck sweater for TM & AM. and 3 are patterns which i do not know the source of!! yay! meshes included, files compressed. since these are so bright i recommend downloading the originals if you’re wanting some nice darker colors. ^u^

I asked some of my favourite creators who use Pooklet’s v3 textures for permission to use their retextures on meshes converted (or original) for other genders. Here’s first part: hair retextures by Azaya and Simbic on meshes by Umi and Trapping. All meshes included and colors are the same as in original uploads. I also included Simbic’s retexture of Newsea Hedonism on mesh for all ages (her original upload worked only for YF-EF) and I used her retexture of Newsea Nightbloom and pasted in on shaved mesh edit by Trapping, and then recolored it in Pooklet’s, Almighty Hat’s and Io’s colors.
