I never noticed it before but I think it's the same battlefield 🥺

Realistically, Griffguts would be that toxic couple that would be together for months that consist mainly of fucking, then bc of outside circumstances they’re forced to separate physically, fight over it due to unhealthy amounts of jealousy and obsession, break up over a misunderstanding and annoy everyone around them with how dramatic they’re being, then they’d have hate sex a bunch of times until they decide to get together again, repeat the cycle until eternity. Absolutely unhinged, passionate and unhealthy for each other. And I live for that, I’m obsessed with it.

The idea of a passionate, possessive love story that will ultimately end badly just never fails to be interesting. I’m thinking of Jitsuroku Abe Sada, where it progressively escalates and ends in death. Death and love and being driven mad due to love and lust, it’s just inherently interesting to me.

It’s not healthy or fluffy but that’s just not what I see for them, they’re doomed and that tragedy makes it all the more engaging
