Ok it's very funny to laugh at Tuxedo Mask for showing up and doing nothing, but his job was never to actually fight the monsters.

His job was just to show up and believe in Sailor Moon so overwhelmingly resolutely that she remembers she's a fucking demigod long enough for HER to fight the monsters.

Because she's the only one strong enough to do it in the first place, and in this regard Tuxedo Mask is the first example of being "Kenough" in this essay I will

I was thinking "nah, why would they? not the right vibe" and was going to just assume the answer was no, but...

...I was very surprised to learn that in fact, they did. (close by, that is)

How the fuck did they avoid Texas that hard

by filming in Vancouver Canada, which cannot possibly be made to look like Texas

They also didn't touch my home state (az) lmfao

Fascinating decision to not have any episodes of an American religious themed supernatural television program pass through New Orleans, frankly, but they also hit NONE of the US cities, towns, or major metropolitan areas I've ever lived in lol

user @literatigeek is so right, like... you get it

I'm gonna link to the animations in case y'all either don't remember or have never heard of some of these.

A quick note: these were made in the 2000s. Comedy is subjective, there's some strong examples of dark and/or "lolz teh random" humor in these. Maybe some cultural blindness, too. That said, enjoy a time capsule of stuff made before/during the birth of Youtube, now hosted on Youtube.
