So today the band is five years old. In honor of this, it's time to release a new album. Our first in a very long time. "I'm Not High, You're High" is the closing of a chapter. After many attempts to utilize the songs for splits and a 5" release, we realized that these tracks should have never been separated. They represent a very important time in our lives. We felt the need to salvage and maintain these recordings in the manner we thought most fitting. With the exception of two songs, this album was written following a fairly long and impactful acid trip. This trip took place on foot from West Roxbury to Brighton, MA around midnight. The three of us - Brian, Walker, and myself - embarked on a "journey" we would never forget. Except for Brian, who can't remember disappearing into an alley of dumpsters exclaiming that he was "going home". If it wasn't for our bud Walker, we may have never made it home. He was making us laugh so hard that it was cruel. It's why we have decided to use his face as the album art. It's why we have used this quote he spoke to me that very night for this new record. It's why everyone needs a buddy like Walker Desing. Enjoy.
Our good friend Jordan from Like Young Records will be doing a tape release for this and we can't thank him enough. News about that soon.

This past weekend, we as a band discovered some really upsetting truths regarding Matt from take nothing, leave everything. It has taken us a few days to properly address this situation and assess our emotions on the matter. There have been accounts of abuse from multiple individuals and this has moved us to make this immediate decision.
In complete solidarity with the victims and the other members of the band (Alexa and Dan), we will no longer be associating with Take Nothing, Leave Everything.
If you have visited our Bandcamp recently, you will now notice the split has been changed to the title “Single Sided Self Titled 7 inch”. This is because Girls Cartel Records and myself (Don't Live Like Me Records) will come up with a plan to fix the remaining copies and erase TN,LE from the split. More details on that later.
We as a band sincerely hope any individuals affected by Matt's behavior find a forum to discuss their experiences and continue to lead happy and healthy lives.
