Okay but instead of shipping the grumpy one with the cinnamon roll, imagine shipping two grumpy ones. Just being salty about fucking everything together all the time. Having the same salty philosophy on life and snickering at other people’s idiocy 24/7.

愚痴を言い合える仲もいいけど

良い報告をし合って前向きな話ができる仲はもっと素敵*

不幸を一緒に悲しむことが多かった気がする。

人の幸せを喜べるのは、なんて幸せなんだろう*

“Susanoo-san!” Nephthys rushed towards her boyfriend and hugged him. It’s been almost a year since they last met but for gods who had lived for thousands and thousands of years, they barely had a problem.

Set faked a cough at her reaction. He’d rarely seen her so…ecstatic. “It’s good to see you here, Takeru.”

“Now that we’re all gathered here, why don’t we have some tea?” Osiris tilted his head, smiling.

“Nephthys!” Takeru eagerly returned the hug, wrapping his arms around the goddess’s waist in a tight embrace. Simply having her in his arms once more made him question why he hadn’t come back to visit sooner.

He shot Set a questioning look, but didn’t comment on the other’s lack of excitement over seeing him again. Instead, he turned to the unfamiliar egyptian who had greeted him. “You must be Osiris, I’ve heard a lot about you.” He held out a hand for the other to shake, returning the smile. “Tea would be great! I’m sure we’ve a lot to catch up on.”

“Look at you,” She smiled brightly, cupping his face and rubbed his cheeks gently. “You haven’t changed at all.” Set tried to hold back his laughter. “Yea, he’s still short,” He muttered under his breath. He thought, as the god of foreigners and an old friend of Takeru he’d have the honor to welcome him back but as his lover, of course Nephthys would beat him through that. “I hope you like green tea,” Osiris said as he led them into his palace. “Tea originated in Asia, brother,” The redhead replied, rolling his eyes. “The nile carp originated in Egypt, but yet I don’t like it.” The green-eyed responded.

A matching smile adorned the sea god’s features as he leaned in, placing a quick peck against Nephthys’s lips. “Well, I wasn’t gone too long.” After all, it was hard to stay away. Friends and family were of the utmost importance to Takeru -- while Egypt still didn’t feel like home to him, it was where quite a few of his friends were.

However, his smile faltered at Set’s comment. “Can’t you at least wait a few minutes before insulting me?” He groaned, frowning up at the redhead as the group walked into the palace he assumed was their home. “I know you missed me too, save the jerk act for later.”

Eh, btw @sea-and-storms it’s too bad that you deleted your Isis now that I have Osiris XD maybe you can bring her around?

Ohh, that would be fun! I think I’m going to move Takeru to a sideblog on my main account because I keep forgetting to log back into this one, I could easily make that a multi-muse blog and bring back Isis while I’m at it!

This is the best explanation I could come up with for why it takes me so long to do updates sometimes when, at other times, I’m typing them up like clockwork.

Haven’t been on this blog or active in the KnA fandom in quite awhile, but I’ll (theoretically) be turning this into writing blog and posting tips/references and progress on the book I’m going to try and write. It’ll take some time and reworking, not sure how soon those changes are going to be made.

  • “Don’t say ‘I told you so’. I know, okay?”
  • “I’m never eating your cooking ever again.”
  • “I caught this from you. This is all your fault!”
  • “I hate seeing you so ill.”
  • “Ah-ah-achoo!”
  • “I need a tissue… Or five.”
  • “Do I have a temperature?”
  • “Let me check your temperature.”
  • “Ice cream is the only thing that makes me feel better.”
  • “I don’t want you to see me like this.”
  • “You still look beautiful to me.”
