HAPPY LUCAS DAY 🦁
[2021.01.18] 7/100 days of productivity
- revised a failed assignment for my teaching class
- finished medea
- 30 minutes of korean rosetta stone
- completed chapter 8-2 of my korean textbook
today is my last day using rosetta stone. it feels strange to say as i have been using it so heavily, but i have been using it for speaking and listening practice over break, and it’s not good for much else. as my class is starting up soon (i’ll get plenty of listening and speaking there), i will shift my focus to drilling TOPIK vocab and learning grammar for my class instead.
[2021.01.17] 6/100 days of productivity
- completed a section for my tefl course
- read more medea
- did some prep for korean class
- 30 minutes of korean rosetta stone

[2021.01.16] 5/100 days of productivity
- finished 30% of medea
- lesson 8-1 in my korean workbook
- 30 minutes of korean rosetta stone
today i took a break from my TEFL course to get started on some literature for one of my classes i am very excited (and a little bit nervous) for this upcoming semester: Greek and Roman Mythology!! it’s the first class besides korean that i’ve taken just for fun (and because i need a few more credits) because i don’t have much knowledge on the subject at all but would like to! even though i’m still a week out from school i’m already starting my reading for it, bc i am a little nervous
[2021.01.15] 4/100 days of productivity
- rosetta stone 30 mins
- completed two TEFL lessons
- skimmed intro for euripides’ medea
- studied summary and characters for medea on sparknotes
- completed chapter 8-1 of my korean textbook, skimmed 8-2 as well
my plan for today was adjusted slightly as i was ready to dive into the intro in my copy of Medea, however it was far more complicated than anticipated. i hate when translators make their own notes more complicated than they need to be, but that is besides the point. i decided i will use sparknotes as my self-study guide in order to fully understand the reading ahead of having a TA as a contact point.
[2021.01.14] 2/100 days of productivity
- tidied room
- 30 minutes of rosetta stone
- 2 assignments for tefl certification
- lesson 1-3 on how to study korean
- skimmed books and textbooks
today i was faced with two surprises: a happy one and a not so happy one. some of my books for the upcoming semester arrived! however, i recieved feedback on two assignment for my TEFL certification course, which i will need to revise them and resubmit. i know it is part of the process, but i am now a little behind schedule to finish before the semester starts. i’ll have to pick up the pace and focus on that a little bit more.
[2021.01.13] 1/100 days of productivity
completed tasks for today:
•1-2 on how to study korean
•3-1 on rosetta stone korean
•final assignment for my teaching large course module
•checked in on my school portals
•took photos for trading photocards
i’m excited to take on this task of spending 100 days being productive! i’m been having a really hard time finding motivation, especially with online school, so i hope this can improve that!
i got an old book about the greek language for 1$ today :)

The ABCDE Method: Accomplish Tasks more Efficiently
I recently came across the ABCDE method that’s similar to what I do to stay productive each day: instead of lumping up all your tasks, sort them into categories and tackle each of them differently. Here’s an outline of the method. Hope it helps :)
