Kai could only force a smile about Charlotte’s comment, but he ignored to drink just like she did, however he left it on the table in case she’d have changed her mind. It would have been utterly stupid of him to poison the wine, and of course it wasn’t poisoned, but still he would have been curious to see whether Charlotte trusted him, even if she had no reason to.
“What I want to talk about is an ally.” He could have given a long speech but it wasn’t necessary as he’s already told this desire of his to the other cult leader a while ago. “I am willing to negotiate, to make some changes, but I have some goals with my cult, with my goals what will happen. Such as me gaining a senate seat, then the White House….maybe it sounds shallow but if you think about it, we can’t make a whole nation kneel front of us without gaining actual power. People believe what the media shows them…and with that we can put our message out there….without power you must know very well where did all the cults ended up. In tragic, blood and death. But I will let none of this happen to me and my followers, and if the two of us would work together we would have a full chance to not only survive but to gain eternal power.”
She listened to him speak, what he had to offer was pretty tempting. But she still had a problem with his platform in that there was a lack of it. She knew of the other cults before, but they failed because of the leader getting too full of themselves. She was not that, she had a message and she was simply the only being to give that message out. Kai just wanted attention.
“Marshall Applewhite had a near death experience and saw visions. Jim Jones was a messenger of people of all races working together through God. Charles Manson thought he was getting messages from a Beatles record. All these men were given something and had something to believe in. What was your vision? What experience did you have that caused your platform? What even is your platform? I had a vision, The Bringer of Death came to me and told me the truth of what’s to come. I know my platform, my base and what I will bring to this world. If I don’t know your vision, then I don’t know how we can work together.”
