What we know about “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists” so far.

- Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish will be reprising their roles as Alison DiLaurentis and Mona Vanderwaal, respectively. Marlene King wrote the pilot and is also producing the show. 

- Sasha has confirmed the show is not a spin-off to Pretty Little Liars. “It has nothing to do with PLL, they’re just kind of putting my character into it,” (intervew).

- Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists is set in the town of Beacon Heights where everything seems perfect, from their top-tier college to their overachieving residents. But nothing in Beacon Heights is as it appears to be. The stress of needing to be perfect leads to the town’s first murder. Behind every Perfectionist is a secret, a lie and a needed alibi.

- The show is slated to air sometime in 2018. The pilot starts filming in January 2018 and no filming location has been set as of yet. 

- Sara Shepard is going to be more involved in the show. 

- Emison is alive and well and the kids are good. According to Sasha, “Marlene did a great job on tying it all together,” 

- Sasha has said Marlene is changing it up a little. The show starts in a perfect town called Beacon Heights with a really rich family owning the town. They know everything about everyone and their daughter is the first person to die. It’s an accident in the town.. or maybe not?
