I love John Oliver (well, his work) and I am glad to see how wonderful his show is.  I laugh and learn so much and I appreciate that. After all, I did fall in love with a very smart comedian once.

But this video impressed me.  It’s Richard Plepler, the CEO of HBO and I think he really supports Oliver and has faith enough in him that he has just let him do his thing.

And it’s working. I really admire the way Plepler seems to genuinely have faith in Oliver.
