AN ENTIRE YEAR LATER, I remembered that I did not post this piece from last year’s Dalek Week 🫣
Alek didn’t kill in the name of a flag, he killed for someone he loved. and that’s romance, baby!
alek as stede bonnet, gentleman pirate, and deryn/dylan as blackbeard, most notorious pirate of the skies, is so important and urgent to me right now but my brain refuses to do anything with this information except scream incoherently
sometimes its just you, weird eggs, and guy that saved your ass from frostbite
K but lowkey my favorite running gag in the first two books is Deryn actin’ Shady™ in the background of Alek chapters

i’m in the middle of re-reading this trilogy and like, i should re-read it every year?? what have i been doing this whole time… I love these books and these two goofs, why were we ever apart??
Yeah! I love the Leviathan trilogy, and I’ve been meaning to draw art for them for awhile now. Here’s Alek teaching Deryn to dance (although Deryn is the lead).
walking into a book store like B&N and taking a big breath in and just smelling the essence of book is actually unparalleled as an experience
also speaking of books I spotted good old Scott westerfeld on the shelf and just a reminder the leviathan trilogy is one of the best trilogies ever made shout out to @oohmrsharp where ever you are

Flipping through the pages, it was hard to find a picture of the midshipman uniform that wasn’t the rigging suit, but it seems to be just…a suit? Fine by me, I love drawing attractive people in suits.

This isn't an ask but a declaration. I absolutely love you and your blog!!!! I have been scouring the Internet for people in this fandom. I've just gotten back into the fandom and am so happy people still love the series. So thank you, your awesome!!!
what an awesome ask to wake up to. thank you so much! this fandom is great in that it’s still pretty active; i finished the books about a year after the last one and was worried that there’d be no one else around to share the love with. but the fandom soon put that worry to rest
posting about yuletide has made me curious... are there any leviathan holiday gift exchanges/secret santas for fic and art floating around? would anyone be interested in participating in one?
