❛ Well, to be quite honest, I could not say that your behavior on the battlefield has gone unnoticed. ❜ As she spoke, her hands fluidly moved with her speech, practically begging for Severa’s undivided attention. ❛ I have come to find that you often become distracted in the heat of battle, and sometimes you pursue bold plans on your own. Both of these habits have placed yourself on the brink of danger. ❜ She gives a pause, hardly desiring to lay too much upon the girl at one time. Rather, she wished to take the matter slowly. ❛ Just as well…both of these habits seem to only come to a head when your mother is around you… ❜
Oh no. This topic. She felt herself freeze up at the word ‘mother’. Her breathing hitched as well. No.. Tiki would never compare the two of them... Right? She would never tell Severa to act more like her mother or be more like her mother. She was already fearing the worst case scenario.
Severa’s state of panic was very much evident. Her breathing hitched, her palm felt sweaty, even her eyes started to dart around. She didn’t know if she wanted to hear the rest of her worry. The woman tried taking a few big breathes, slowly sitting in the chair behind her, clasping her shaking hand to her knee. But her lip quivered. How much would she has to endure this?
“I-it’s... Nothing. Honestly, Tiki. I only do what needs to be done..” She tried to defend herself. She didn’t know why they were having this worry to begin with. All she wanted was to be apart from her mother, so she, as Severa, would take credit. Not ‘Cordelia’s Daughter’.
“L...Look.. My mother has nothing to do with the plans that I decide on.” She told her. Although it sounded reassuring, it sounded reassuring to the wrong person, to herself. The red-head didn’t know what to do. This was the one topic she wanted less of. Can she not escape this feeling?
“I only did..what I thought was right.” He voice was shaky this time around, she bit down onto her lip, watching the Voice from her seat.
How to approach the truth? Well, perhaps being straightforward as usual might have bore some fruit. However, she felt that the topic in question was far too delicate to allow for brutal honesty…
❛ You need not be inclined to apply honorifics, Severa. We are comrades in arms, and I would much rather speak with you on equal terms. So, pray, Tiki will do just fine. ❜ Gently as ever, she continued to speak with a curious gaze. ❛ As for what you might assist me with…you could perhaps put at ease a few nagging concerns of mine..?❜
Severa didn’t know what to expect. The mercenary would hear her request. Well, it was the voice so she had to obliged to it. The woman would nod once more at the Voice request.
“Yes, of course. I’ll try my best.” She said. Her voice soft, as if willing to do anything to help a friend so dear.. Well.. To her Tiki was a dear person in her timeline. In this timeline, she was yet to be fully.. Needed. She was protected here, much better than in the future.
“What are these concerns?” She asked, getting straight to the point.

Mutuals only for the time being.
❛ Severa, may I exchange a few a words with you? ❜ Silently, Tiki had lifted the cloth which separated Severa’s abode from the outside of the tent. Naturally, word had spread around of the young girl’s ill disposition towards her mother. Equally as expected, such knowledge drew a sense of discomfort from Tiki. Such feelings towards one’s mother…she understood it entirely, which only made her need to speak with Severa more urgent.
The girl that was in her tent was currently reading something. There was a lot of down time in the past she noticed as she took up the hobby of reading, remembering how she was fond of it when she was younger. To say the least, she approached the Tactician and Sumia for some recommendations.
However, her attention was cut short by the soft voice of Tiki. In her future, it felt as if someone had used a healing staff on her. She always did enjoy the melodic tone Tiki always had.. Well. At least to her it sounded as such.
“Hm? Oh. Lady Tiki.” She marked the page quickly and stood, as if she was just as respected as a Lord. She might as well been. She was Naga’s daughter after all. “How can I help you.?” Her voice was more quiet than what people say she was. However, she preferred if ill rumors were just ill rumors. There was probably no fact about them anyway.
So, I’ve updated Severa’s about page because it was just a copy-paste of her wiki. Take a look!
“ …Then you strike, before they can reach for the tool could kill who you’re trying to protect. You can’t gamble with enemies, Severa, that is one thing I vowed to never do. What I’m trying to say… is that I can’t sacrifice one of our own to guarantee one victory out of hundreds of battles. “
When Robin’s philosophy rolls off his tongue, he seals it with a sigh – hazel gaze settled on the floor for one moment, before meeting with Severa’s careful stare once more. The tactician has made this clear many times through the course of warfare – and he’s proven it to be efficacious on multiple counts. However, this shows that Robin chooses deliberately to take the burden of cutting down the enemies who possibly feel the same way as their own army. If it were to ease the guilt of the Shepherds, then Robin is glad to have everything lie upon him.
“ That is how you ensure victory. By having lives on the line – you do anything to keep those soldiers safe, all the while keeping the offensive. It’s the most effective way – and it leaves less room for grief to strike. “
Severa just crossed her arms, listening to their tactician speak. She couldn’t really say anything. Strageties was her worst skill to be fair. She could fight, she had the desire to live. Was that not enough? The woman heaved a quiet sigh. The woman would drop her crossed arms, shaking her head.
“Honestly, Robin... You’re just as bad as Lucina.” She told him. She didn’t really take talking about feelings well, but for whatever reason, seeing him shoulder this... burden by himself made her realize that she and her friends were no better. They killed Risen and what ever bandits that threaten them in the future.
She was not one to talk either, her sharp tongue was a disguise to her own burdens. When she came back with Lucina, her sharp tongue disguise was slowly going away. As if she could finally talk. Openly. In fact, she even took up Inigo’s offer on tea the other day. She’ll never hear the end of that from Inigo either.
“Robin. Surely you of all people know that the guilt of those battles are not yours to bare alone.” She said. She walked towards him. She raised a hand, hesitatingly placing it on the others shoulder. It was awkward. She only comforted Cynthia and Yarne, even Brady. But not.. not someone so powerful. “You’re strong, Robin. But you’re still human.” She told her. She figured nothing else was needed to be said.

happy birthday severa!!
"Happy Birthday, Sev!"
“H-huh?! That’s...Today?” She blinked, blushing brightly, how could she forget?
“T-thanks, Cynthia.” She smiled weakly. “Get me anything?” She half joked.
Robin let a somewhat sheepish smile flit across her features–the mercenary was right. “There were some weapons on sale, and others that were simply rare but could be beneficial to have,” she explained. “But perhaps I did write a little too much.” In truth, she’d forgotten about the previous shipment entirely–as much as she tried to be organized, it wasn’t an easy task.
“Think you have time to go over the order with me before we send it off?”
“Considering that you are the army’s tactician and treasuruer it seemed like.” Although Severa thought Anna would be the best suited for it, but seeing as it was Anna they deal with the most for shopping, she figured leaving a money-loving person to their funds would be a bad idea.
“...Yeah. I’ll help. So long as you treat me somewhere or something nice.” She huffed at the other. How forgetful their tactician could be. Severa would hold a and out for the order slip, frowning. “Let get to work. Sooner the better.”
“ On the battlefield – a life should never be discarded of for the sake of the ‘greater good’. I don’t want needless blood to be shed – nor would anyone for that matter. This is what it means to be Ylisse’s tactician: to gurantee the victory of the halidom and to bring soldiers home to their families. It’s no easy task, but it’s one I’m willing to take. “
Severa listened from afar. She didn’t quite understand why he was saying that. She knew how to fight, however, for half of her life all she fought were Risen, and she honestly didn’t kill anyone until she came to the past where there were more humans than Risen.
“...Must be hard being a tactician with an agenda like that.” Severa stated quietly. She didn’t feel like snapping at anyone today. The mercenary would watch him. “However... you must realize that people don’t change, even if you don’t kill them. Some of them will grab their sword once more when they healed up... What then Robin?” She asked softly.
“Uhm... Robin? Isn’t that a bit risky? I mean, sure, we can survive but still... Spending this much now would not be wise.” Severa had somehow gotten a hold of the order-shipment. “Besides, we still have weapons from last shipment awaiting usage...” She told the tactician.
She wasn’t sure if she was over-stepping their boundries, or their tactician was someone who wanted to be ready at all times.
Father’s Guidance
“I’ve always told Severa this, even as a young lass, but, once you’ve put your mind to it, no wall is unbreakable. All you got to do is swing and punch harder. How else do you think Gregor got to be so talented, eh?”
