Hiya folks (or: it’s not goodbye, it’s see you later)

Since Tumblr, as a blogging platform, has clearly jumped the shark several times over, I’ve decided to take this little dog-and-pony show on the road with me. (How many cliches can I fit into one sentence? That many, if not more.)

I’m @myfairlia on both Twitter and Instagram, and you’re welcome to follow me on either of those outlets if you don’t already. As far as the Facebook thing goes, I already have some of you added, but if you’re willing to put in the detective work necessary to find me and send me a request more power to you, I guess. I may not add you back but I can respect the hustle. Good luck out there.

This is also the post where I shamelessly plug my newest project (yes! I’m saying things like that now. Just go with it. I won’t be on Tumblr for much longer anyhow). Remember back in the good old days where I’d ask you to send me questions about your life? If you were a fan of my blind-leading-the-blind approach to advice back then, you’ll be glad to know that I’ve set up A WHOLE NEW BLOG to do EXACTLY THAT! Exclusively! All the time! You can go see what all that’s about here. I can assure you, I’m barely qualified.

I’m not quite sure what to do with this old fossil of a blog yet. I may delete it entirely, I may keep it up as a shrine to my awkward emerging adult years/because I actually really like some of the writing (lol) I did here. What I can tell you is that this is probably the last original post I’ll make as your friendly neighborhood female protagonist (as of now, under this handle, on this blog, qualifier, qualifier, etc). I’ll pop in a few more times to reblog this and get the word out. You, of course, are welcome to do the same.

It’s been a real five years, Tumblr. Hope to see you around in the great elsewhere.
