Friendship is born at that moment when one man says to another: “What! You too? I thought that no one but myself …"                                                                                               ― C.S. Lewis, The Four Loves

I’m so happy for her and I can’t even lie, I cried a little.

I’ve followed Ingrid for a while now. I’ve always been on the fence about her, but after this video, I can honestly say I am SO impressed by who she is as a person. Bravo for your sincerity, Ingrid. I may be straight, but your video truly touched me and is bound to be incredibly inspiring for so many out there struggling with their sexuality.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE Appreciation Post “I just think she’s so great isn’t she? She is so inspiring to me and I am so grateful that she exists in the world, as someone who is authentic and who has not bent to fit any idea of what a woman should be in that kind of position. And she is so talented. I am just so happy she is around for women everywhere. It’s just fantastic.” — Emma Stone “Honestly, it’s just happenstance [about working together so often] . We both got cast in Silver Linings, and she was going to this other movie and the role was open and so that worked out. I respect her so much as a professional, as an actor, and I think she’s the best there is. I just learn from her. You always want to work with people who are better than you.” — Bradley Cooper “I’d like to collaborate with Jennifer Lawrence. I think she’s brilliant, with a great sense of humor, and quite good looking.” — Patrick Stewart “ I do think it’s important to be yourself and be truthful with who you are as a person, because there’s really no other way to do it in my opinion. Just be yourself and it works that way! Watching Jennifer Lawrence do it — she’s so natural and she doesn’t take it too seriously — but then there’s that other side of her that does take it seriously.” — Willow Shields “When I worked with her, I realized the child was a genius. She’s the right person at the right time in the sense of Joan of Arc or Jesus Christ, any genius, in that sense. She has the ability as an actor to tell the truth out of the material and that truth is immediately recognizable with everybody because it hits you in your heart, your solar plexus and your mind. And she has the genius of person to be not affected by all of this. She’s just a real girl.” — Donald Sutherland “She is one-of-a-kind. She is so herself. She says the most outrageous shit. Just incredible, the stuff she’ll say.”— Woody Harrelson “She speaks her mind. If she’s unhappy, she says so. If she’s happy, she says so. She doesn’t take anyone’s bullsh*t – excuse my French. She’s so normal. She wins an Oscar and the first thing she does is put her finger up to the press.”— Sam Claflin “She’s very funny. When I first met her, I was sitting in the makeup trailer, and our makeup artist was testing something, and Jennifer came in. I said, ‘Oh, let me get up.’ She goes, ‘No, no, no. You sit there. And I’ll secretly resent you.’” — Julianne Moore “She is exactly what people hope that she is, which is really fun, easygoing gal you’d want to hang out with. You definitely want to have a beer with her.” — Elizabeth Banks “I stood next to Jennifer Lawrence for nine months as an actress watching another actress and I stood by her as Cressida watching Katniss,  looking at her lead a rebellion. “Katniss doesn’t have any ego and neither does Jennifer. The reason why she’s so compelling to an audience is because she’s true to herself and doesn’t suffer the bullshit or superficial elements. …. That’s why people look up to her. She’s a great role model. So is Katniss. She can’t comment on that herself, because by the nature of her personality, she’s incapable.” — Natalie Dormer “I got to meet Jennifer Lawrence recently and I spent a while with her because she’s the neighbour of one of my friends in LA who directed me in The Young Doctor’s Notebook. She’s awesome. She’s another one of those people that gives you faith that this industry doesn’t necessarily turn people into monsters. She’s the most famous person in the world and she’s still really, really cool and normal.” — Daniel Radcliffe “I’m constantly seeing female performances that inspire me. Just looking at people and wondering, “How do you do that?” I see Jennifer Lawrence in American Hustle and I just think, “How does someone at 21 or 22 have that depth and soul and freedom?” It’s amazing to me.” — Rosamund Pike “For a few years I went down a path where I forgot to be in the moment and enjoy the moment. But being around someone like Jen, who is so honest and laughs all day long, I am forced to be in the right now. I’m much happier.” —Liam Hemsworth “She’s so crazy. We have so much fun together, and that happened from the very first moment that we met each other. We’re both from Kentucky, and I really think that was what our relationship was built upon. As soon as we knew that we were both from Kentucky, that gave us the right to act crazy with each other. I don’t know why it did that, but it absolutely did. At the same time that it’s fun and crazy, it’s also a real friendship. If she needs to talk to me or I need to talk to her about whatever, we have each other’s backs. I’m definitely part of the family. She’s there for me and I’m there for her.” — Josh Hutcherson “She’s an amazing study of people. She really understands the teeniest differences in people. She can read people in a second,‘She can figure you out in an instant. She does it with such ease, from the gut.” — Francis Lawrence
