I don’t know exactly what issues you have while drawing eyes, so I can only show you the way I draw them ;-; I hope it could help you a bit?
I always start off with the upper lid shape, then add a curve of the lower lid and from there just add details, like so:

I am normally rather allergic to puns, but we had an informal club of pun lovers on the Korra crew, shamelessly led by storyboard artist Eugene Lee.
