“Oooh! Wanna go race at the obstacle course then?” Her silver eyes sparks with excitement. The most fun things to do together with her sister are the most physically challenging ones!
The two sisters have always been playing in a forest since they were kids, and neither of them are scared in getting dirt in their clothes. Or in this case, soap bubbles.
Though Yang has always been stronger than Ruby, but that what makes Yang a more enjoyable opponent.

❝ you sure you wanna do the obstacle course, sis? ❞ she taunted, a teasing look in her eyes. ❝ i’m not gonna let you win this time, you know. ❞ yang crossed her arms, looking down at her sister.

she knew her little sister was a pretty agile girl, but yang didn’t want to give up the competition that early. they’re both pretty competitive girls, after all, and that’s what made it so fun for her. she giggled for a moment before nodding. ❝ if you’re ready to lose, let’s go! ❞

I don’t dance || Akira and ?

Oh geez, this was turning out to be a horrible situation. Not only was he forced against his will (sort of, in a dramatic sense), but he was put on the spot and expected to learn how to dance? How utterly horrifying. At least, that’s what Akira would think if he was the kind of person who feared every form of social interaction. He didn’t, but things tended to get really awkward very quickly when it came to him.
Learn? Well, he better learn quickly because this dance party isn’t going to last for long, but certainly ling enough to torture him. The centre of the dance party, how fantastic. He never really liked getting involved in the centre of things, but it looks like it was time to try and don a more confident persona. Was he really that much of a killjoy? He had to change that. Luckily Yang was willing to help him, with his hands grasped once more and held up in the air, Akira assisted the spinning and even gave a twirl himself before letting go and taking a step back.
Image
I might have lied just a little, but only because this is something I do in my room alone.” Spoken in a cocky tone, Akira rolled his shoulders. His legs crossed back and forth, to the beat of the music. Along with jazz, he was rather fond with eletrco swing, so he had mimicked the movements of a dancer he memorized. Ending it with a shrug of his shoulders, a smile painted his features.

well. that wasn’t exactly what she had expected to happen, but how could she be disappointed at that? ❝ woah! ❞ she gasped as he kicked to and fro, laughing a tad bit as she stepped back to give him space. could you blame her for chuckling, though? ❝ oh my god, you really are a loser! ❞ she spurted out in between giggles while he danced. though, yang still clapped for him and cheered him on -- after all, he was dancing.

her laughter didn’t end until after his dance did, and she was wiping the faintest of tears from her eyes when that time came. ❝ that was hilarious! ❞ she nodded at him, continuing to clap. yang placed a hand on his arm and her other wrapped around her stomach, which was starting to hurt at this point from all the cackling. ❝ i’m sorry -- you got me! ❞ both hands went into the air for a moment as a form of surrender, her laughing finally ended.

❝ i owe you for that move. really. let me get you something from one of the stands -- that was amazing! ❞ just thinking about his moves again already started to revive her laughter. she turned and began squeezing her way through the people on the dance floor, making their escape. ❝ c’mon, follow me! ❞

Pridefest Event with @enzoleille
Ruby and Yang haven’t been hanging out lately. Honestly, it’s been making the younger sister a bit lonely. But today, Yang finally managed to have some time to stop by at the festival, and right now on her break, Ruby was quick to run out of her booth once her substitute too her place.
Once she spots a messy head of blonde in the crowd, she dashes right at the figure.

“Yang!” She called out to her “Sorry I took so long!” The shorter girl finally reaches her big sis’ side, stopping to catch her breath.
“So, where do you wanna go first?” Ruby asked, excitement evident in the shine in her silver eyes. This girl really doesn’t waste time.

yang tapped her foot on the ground, arms crossed over her chest. the sisters didn’t have much time to spend together lately with all of yang’s work, but she was finally granted a bit of time to have some fun at the festival. she intended to walk around the festival with her younger sister and catch up on how she’d been lately, but ruby being late didn’t necessarily help with that.

when she heard that familiar voice coming closer to her, a smile crossed her face.

❝ ruby! ❞ she wrapped an arm around her little sister as she finally caught up to her. finally, she could have a bit of fun with her baby sister.

❝ do you wanna go to the bounce house? i heard that’s pretty fun. ❞ she inquired, tapping a finger on her chin.

Unfortunately, he hadn’t heard Yang’s call towards him. The ‘hey’ was drowned out in the merriment of others, only realising that someone was trying to talk to him when they grabbed his arm.  He almost jumped out of his skin, like a cat spooked by a sudden sound.
Image
O-Oh. I’m so sorry, I couldn’t hear you over the music.” Speaking loud enough for the blonde woman to hear him. This was embarrassing, to think he couldn’t hear her or see her. He must have appeared so rude and ignorant. However, if she was still willing to drag him to dance, it was obvious that she didn’t mind. Loser? Well, he heard that much for unintentionally ignoring Yang.
I–I don’t know how to dance though.” His eyes looked around at the crowd, everyone was dancing so differently. How as he supposed to do what they were doing? There were people swinging their hips, jumping on the spot or even just stepping from side to side by moving their arms. Kicking the ground, he turned his attention drawn back to the stranger who had dragged him to dance.

yang was used to people being a lot worse, and doing significantly worse things than not hearing her speak. so this was nothing. plus, she was just out here to have some fun! she didn’t want to take things seriously during the festival, she just wanted to enjoy herself for once.

she chuckled at him, pulling him to the dance floor with her. ❝ you can learn! ❞ she brings him as close to the center of the floor as she can without pushing everybody, a coy smile on her face. she turns to him and grabs both of his hands before swinging them back and forth while making the last couple of steps towards the center.

yang proceeded to let go of his hands after a second, swinging her hips and putting her arms in the air. ❝ just let go! have some fun! ❞ she could just tell from looking at him and hearing the way he spoke that he was a bit of a boring kind of guy. at his sulking, she brought her arms back down. once again, she grabbed his hands and proceeded to swing them around, a huge smile on her face. ❝ come on, you killjoy! ❞ she brought their hands into the air a moment before spinning herself around below them, looking back to him.

I don’t dance || Akira and ?

As the sun was starting to set, the stalls had cleared and dusk was quick to roll around. Now, loud music began playing and the flash of lights filled the air, people were cheering, heading towards the ‘dance floor’. Akira’s never been to a festival like this, where people were so quick to switch from one thing to another. People of all ages seemed to be in this, but the majority being teenagers and young adults.
With all these colours, he wondered if they were going to start throwing powder paint like that one festival. What was it called? Colour festival? – No wait, Holi. That was it. He didn’t know much about that festival other than it was to celebrate love and it involved a lot of powder paint. Part of him wanted to join the other people, but he had his doubts. He didn’t know how to dance, and there was just so many people there, that he wasn’t sure if he could even dance there.

Taking to the sides, Akira simply watched the crowd. For once, Akira was feeling content and relaxed, despite how awkward he was around people. Perhaps it was just because he enjoyed merriment like this, seeing people all gathered together, happy and enjoying life.
What he didn’t notice, was that there was someone trying to grab his attention.

despite her duties and the obligations she had to the order, yang xiao long was allowed some time to partake in the pride festival. her younger sister was running a booth, and it’d be a good opportunity for her to meet people. she was often too absorbed in her work to go out and meed people, so this just seemed to be a good idea all around. the blonde didn’t get to arrive until later in the day, though, after all of her work was done in the underground. but she arrived just in time for the dance party.

the dj’s choice in music was just her style, and she was having quite a bit of fun dancing out on the floor. a smile crossed yang’s features and she stepped out of the center of the floor after a few minutes of dancing. she needed a second to catch her breath and get a tiny bit of fresh air away from all the perfumes and colognes that people dancing were wearing, and backed away to the sides.

after a few moments, she looked at one of the only other people sitting on the outskirts: a black-haired guy a bit younger than her. she grinned to herself, stepping over to him. ❝ hey! ❞ the girl called to him as she sidestepped around the floor beside him.

Image

❝ you there? ❞ she crossed her arms for a moment before just rolling her eyes and grabbing his arm, already starting to tug on him so he couldn’t ignore. ❝ come on, loser -- let’s go dance! ❞
