I’m pretty sure there are posts about this site somewhere on tumblr, but oh my goodness - I adore this site. 

writtenkitten.co is a website where you can type up anything (essays, stories, fanfiction) and every 100 words (or more, you have an option) you get a picture of a kitty! 

I use it for essays more than anything, it is so helpful. Maybe it’s just staring at Microsoft Word but it just makes me want to procrastinate even more. It really helps get the writing juices flowing. The pictures of kitties are always so cute & have a source. 

But it’s not just kittens! There’s an option for puppies & bunnies too. 

ANYWAY if you procrastinate like me this site might help you pass this semester

Honestly my post says it all. There was some conventionally attractive guy working as Peter Pan at Disneyland and he became really popular on tumblr bc he was cute and funny. So since he became somewhat of a celebrity tumblr kids who visited Disney would like follow him around and take pics of him and stuff like any old celebrity, except he was just some normal guy trying to work his job and it was annoying

I HATE tumblr's new system of being able to find any un-tagged post through a search. I don't fucking want all this attention on a stupid post I made late at night. I'm tiiiiired of it omg I wanted my followers to see it and laugh but now I have all these new people following me just because of one rogue post that has nothing to do with anything I regularly post and I genuinely hate that

Folks who didn’t have tumblr before 2010-2011ish didn’t have to deal with all those fucking gifs of that guy who worked as Peter Pan at Disneyland and subsequently hear about the drama that ensued when Tumblr Kids kept fuckig stalking him at work

And yet if it’s a girl being harassed at Disneyland (Megara, Esmerelda, Kida) , they are removed and have extra security and tumblr defends the victims and slags off the people committing the act.

Male characters (and cosplayers) get harassed sexually through actions, words and physically, but it’s “funny” or “cute” when people do it to men, and it’s somehow acceptable.

The double standards of male vs female abuse victims astounds me.

I don't know about any instances of women working at Disney but please don't insinuate that women who are victims of abuse are generally believed. Also the kids who harassed the Peter Pan guy were severely harassed online as a result. People didn't find it cute or funny at all.
