Felicity couldn’t fight the blush on her cheeks over the idea of her being the reason Oliver smiled more. She was happy that he was so happy and that she played a part in that but she still hadn’t expected Thea to say something like that. “So he’s always smiling? That’s good. I guess a happy mayor makes everyone’s jobs easier.” The blonde smiled. “But I’m guessing having his siter around has something to do with that as well.”
“Yep. It makes a change” When Oliver had come back from the island she hadn’t thought he’d ever smile again. But then he’d met Felicity. She honestly didn’t think either of them would be here if it wasn’t for the woman sat in front of her. “Well....I hope he’s happy I’m around” She mused with a little laugh. She was happy to be around, even if her heart did want to be elsewhere.

Roy wrapped his arms around her, it was something about feeling Thea in his arms, holding her close. It made all of this so much easier. And besides that, it was just a dance. He smiled at her, as long as they kept things easy and not let minds and hands wander too much it wouldn’t be a problem, and he was going to be sure that Mrs. Queen was impressed by him by the end of the nigh. “Okay,” he replied, “so I’m gonna be a good boy tonight,” his hand moving down her back resting on the small of it, “see I can keep my hands to myself,” he replied with a raised eyebrow. “And you can still admit that it still is,” he said, “but I bet you’d think it would be fun to corrupt the good boy that never would do anything wrong.”
Thea practically melted into his arms. She knew they had to behave, but honestly she felt so at home in his arms. Her life has been pretty awful up till now, but somehow, it felt a little better with Roy in her life. So she was going to do everything she could to make sure he stayed. It wasn’t as if she listened to her mom most of the time, so she wouldn’t be breaking up with Roy, even if her mother disapproved. “Mmm... hopefully you can manage that” She teased, smirking at him. She was sure he could with her help. “Mm.... It would be fun to corrupt a good boy....” She mused, tilting her head to the side. “But I like my bad boy quite a lot so..... think I’ll stick with him.”

“Remember what I said the last time I was here?” he asked, sitting down next to her, a hand resting on top of her knee. “Because that is still true.” He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath before locking his eyes with hers. “And you won’t be a burden, you would never be a burden to me. I still love you, Thea Queen.”
Thea honestly thought she might burst into tears when he came and sat next to her. Roy, always so gentle, she had no idea what she had ever done to deserve him. She’d done a lot of bad things, and yet he was still here. She shifted closer to him, so she could rest her head on his shoulder. “I don’t know what I ever did to deserve you... but I love you too.” She would never stop. She couldn’t. She couldn’t imagine her life without him, and she didn’t want to anymore

by late, it means anywhere between 1 day to 1 year. because i know some people prefer writing and replying on the spot, but i’m also sure lots of peeps struggle with that for various reasons, and threads get dropped because their partner has long lost interest or something, which can be very discouraging. so i hope we can all be understanding here!

Thea was running late. She was meant to be going to the office to sort a few things out for Verdant. But she was late, and had only just finished in the shower. She headed out, across the apartment to go back to her room. She hated that her room was so far away from the bathroom. Trust Ollie to claim the best room. Her eyes widened though, as she saw who was there. Roy. She hadn’t seen him since he’d last left town. That had been a good year or so.
“Roy! I.... oh....” She was in her towel. Oh. This was a little awkward.

Felicity would proudly admit that one of her favourite things about being married to Oliver was having Thea as her sister in law, she’d seen the young woman as family for a long time and she liked that it was now official. “Thank you. So, I’m guessing Oliver’s been walking around with a dopey grin on his face for about a week or so and now you know why!”
Having Felicity as her sister-in-law was a great thing too. Thea hadn’t had a sister growing up, and so having one now was everything to her. She adored her two brothers, but sometimes it was just nice to have a girl that she was close to. “He always walks with that smile because of you” Thea teased with a little smirk.
