Are fucking kidding me? I have been sitting at home and constantly watching the news after the events of yesterday. For those of you who are wondering, I am a junior at REYNOLDS HIGH SCHOOL! I was there when the shooter kept running in the halls trying to open the doors and get in. I was there in the dark praying and crying while my librarian kept saying ” they’ll have to kill me before they touch my kids” I have known her for three years, her determination to keep us safe broke her heart. Seeing this, that little children need protection in school. Are we sending kids to a battlefield? I have three little brothers ranging from 5-10, and still people have the nerve to speak about the second amendment? Really? I can’t even type anymore. I’m so disgusted and frustrated. When will you realize that it’s important to have gun control? When a shooter is pointing a gun at your child? Is that when you’ll realize that guns aren’t something to be kept around. People say it’s a free country but honesty, this country is more oppressed and diseased than any other country.

Show me ONE instance where gun control and gun free zones prevented school shootings.

I THINK YOU ARE MISSING THE FUCKING POINT! THERE HAVE BEEN ALMOST 40 SCHOOL SHOOTINGS THIS YEAR ALONE! MORE THAN ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD! TELL ME HOW THAT IS NOT A PROBLEM! /TELL ME/

The NRA is a fucking terroristic organization. They’re promoting the purchasing of military grade assault weapons, and then when someone realizes that people should be allowed to have those, they go crazy. They are promoting the “surround yourself with assault weapons to protect you from the government” model because it makes them more money, and if kids have to die, well that’s capitalism. Thank you for reading my incoherent babble.

Talking about incoherent babble…can you please explain to the rest of us what “military-grade” “assault” weapons the NRA are promoting?  In fact, just name one military-grade assault weapon so we can further mock you.

They are promoting the surround yourself with “assault” weapons to protect you from the government model because it makes them more money.

Model?  Oh, are you talking about the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution?  Wow, the NRA really had to hit the chalkboard with coming up with that model to “make them more money.”  After you make a fool out of yourself explaining what military weapons the NRA is pushing on the people, please tell us how the NRA makes more money off of this “model.”

That's not an intelligent design for a Kevlar blanket, shots could enter through the unprotected sides. A turtle shell kind of blanket that protects the sides would be better. Waste of resources. Also, I don't believe guns are the problem. Uneducated and primitive people is the actual problem.

There should be strict guidelines and filters to apply for firearm possesion, including psychological and IQ tests. You can't provide a primitive human being with an instrument that can kill if the subject is not fit for such responsability.

I do believe that there are intellgent and rational humans, and there's the opposite. Guns are not the problem. In that case, let's ban everything that can be used for killing people.
