That was the most amazing day when our spoon campaign made national news. That idea was born in a chat by myself and @casinovixen1212 because we’d already done campaigns like it before. Obviously our collective voices were loud then. We could totally be louder! Double the spoons for a job well done!

That was fun. @bethgreenewarriorprincess seeing how Beth fans stood together for that campaign. Every single person one who sent in those Spoons used their own imagination.

A few hours ago, thewalkingdead’s official Tumblr reblogged this Bethyl fan artwork (X). Look at it. They didn’t tag it Bethyl, but they captioned it Bethyl. They’re using the ship name. They want us to interpret this as a shipping post. And yes, I know that thewalkingdead’s tumblr has posted and/or reblogged C@ryl bits. It’s the fact that they are doing this for Bethyl, now, 9 months since her “death” when the ship was supposedly sunk, is what gets me. Even my roommate, the awesome 221localhobbit was blown away when I told her, and she doesn’t even watch the show. Why bait a ship that can never happen? It’s cruel, unnecessary, and no successful business would bother. Business is about money, and this won’t make money, it’d just piss off Beth/Bethyl fans. They know about the Beth riot. They know they hurt a ton of people who washed their hands of the show. I equate this to Once Upon a Time: In the first season they set up a romance between Graham, the sheriff of the town, and Emma Swan, the protagonist. Graham was then murdered minutes after they started a relationship, and to add to the injustice, his death was barely acknowledged and the character’s memory basically written out of canon. The show runners then teased that “not even death can stop true love” and really pissed off Gremma fans. We didn’t want to be toyed with. So we stopped watching eventually. 

It should also be noted that as of right now amc’s official tumblr has only one shipper post: Bethyl (X).

Secondly, thewalkingdead tagged it for TWDSeason6. What. the. fuck. Beth is “dead.” She has no connection to season 6 besides her family’s grief for her and Daryl carrying her knife. Unless it means she’s coming back. Look at what the site has posted/reblogged for that tag (X):

Only 5 posts, which includes Bethyl fan art and a Beth-walker poster as well as Maggie looking in a mirror. (This could possibly tie into Maggie facing her guilt towards giving up on her sister and those 17 days that she was definitely central to). (It should also be noted that AMC bought the rights to another Bethyl fan art piece (X)). Good morning, wonderful TD followers! Hope everyone is having a great weekend. 

You’ll notice this isn’t my normal format, and that’s because this is a post specifically for Tumblr and not for any of my other platforms. I have something to say, I’m going to address it once, and you can take from it whatever you will. Then I want to move forward. 

I’m having a problem here on Tumblr and it’s stressing the crap out of me over the past week and a half or so. For those of you who don’t know or care anything about this, feel free to skip this or keep reading. Of course it’s totally up to you. I’ll be tagging the few people I think most need to see this. On GE, kjs12345 is always keeping us up-to-date on spoilers and social media posts. He’s great, and today he posted these links: (X) (X).

This is Skybound’s The Walking Dead official Twitter account, and they are promoting Beth’s season 5 storyline. Even though she’s “dead,” and Grady hasn’t been discussed since 5x09 (mention of Dawn). The first pic is from Slabtown, the second of Maggie’s reaction when Beth is brought out to her. There’s literally no reason for this unless they’re going back to Grady and Beth because otherwise there’s nothing to promote. Time equals money, so they wouldn’t be doing this without a reason. They’re going to show us what happened in this 17 days, which Maggie is intrinsically tied to, especially since she was seen crying in Tyreese’s flashback.

This is about a 2 second clip, and yet it was deemed important enough that it was an episode still. (If someone could link me to the original trailer or where AMC puts up their walking dead episode stills, please send me the link). She’s wearing the same clothes from Coda except she has on a second layer, the striped shirt, which wasn’t seen in the following episode. This clip is probably from the tail end of those 17 days. (It’s interesting to note that LC’s interview had no clips from the previous season, only preview 6 stuff, and that Maggie was one of the few people whose Alexandria interview we didn’t see. And she’s one of the main characters).

This, coupled with the blatant Beth references in Steven and Danai’s interviews (X) (X), is all pointing to Beth’s return, and an early one. The premiere is in less than 40 days, and the media surge is only getting stronger. Beth Greene is coming back, guys, to Daryl and Maggie, and to us. We just have to wait a little bit longer!

Excellent points, bethgreeneishopeunseen!!!  And speaking of Maggie, I am betting that we DO get to see a flashback of her interview with Deanna in Season 6.  Remember the instragram picture I posted a couple days ago that Greg Nicotero posted?  He said “Five weeks to go until Season 6 starts!” and you saw his son sitting in Deanna’s chair, on set.

I love the second one better!!!

Okay so the trailer!!!!!!! I’ve watched at least fifty times and all I can say is omg! I need better quality but Daryl being kidnapped and them showing it in a Coda is brilliance!! Though I didn’t see it coming in the trailer, it works for so many reasons. The kidnapper is talking at the beginning on what we thought was a fade to black. Just like last year. Then though instead of Daryl being hit like we did Beth, we see Daryl looking around while kneeling as if he’s searching for someone who’d just been there. Beth helped Noah escape. Maybe that was foreshadowing for Beth then helping Daryl escape from the Wolves!! It looks like he’s confused. Right before that, we see the blonde running away. I’m not sure it’s her, but it’s odd and I just keep remembering the look on Daryls face with the girl tied to the tree. It’s very similar imo. Also the part where Jessie is panting and hiding is very reminiscent of Beth in the trunk in Still!! I need the trailer in better quality but more than anything, I need it to be October!!! I’ll (impatiently) wait for Beth!! Hurry up October!!

SDCC Team Delusional Chat

casinovixen1212 juicypapeach and I in conjunction with The Greene Effect will be hosting a chat for SDCC!!!! This will be a supportive chat and EVERYONE involved in the Beth Greene Lives fandom is invited!! So come one, come all.
