misstifying
it’s been a long day for both of them. eddie’s been living in england and is continuing international work — now sharing a flat with abigail. they’ve got a rather good relationship going on — regularly sharing a bed, going out on ‘dates’ and spending a lot of their free time together. all in all, eddie likes it. he’s sat upon the couch, cursing the fact they only have one bathroom. she’s been in there for what feels like HOURS. with a soft grumble, he gets up and pads across the apartment, knocking upon the door. ❛ abby? you all right? you’ve been in there for a while. you need anything? ❜

my neighbourhood has never had an ice cream truck. in the summer, we have the knife sharpening truck. it slowly circles the block and rings its ominous bell. i have never seen someone interact with it. it may be that only those marked by death can see it
