Emerald chuckles and rolls her eyes, resting her hand on her hip. “We’ve got a ladies man over here. Look, monkey boy. I’ll give ya’… 30 minutes to impress me with this ‘date’. If ya’ don’t, I get to go home and keep the clothes.”
“Only 30 minutes? Robbin’ yourself the night of your dreams in that case.”
The blonde would too chuckle, eagerly taking her up on the offer and thinking up possibilities; Sun would already be extending both arms outward to her, wanting to take full advantage of this limited time window.
“Let’s skip the foreplay then; what do you say?”
Cue a confident yet playful smirk.
She holds up her finger. “Ah, ah. Date first. Anything else later, if you can keep my attention.” She retorts, crossing her arms then and cocking her head to the side.
“Alright then, my fair lady.”
Cue a playful, yet cheesily romantic bow before his blue would meet her green once more.
“And what exactly does your dream ‘30 minute date’ entail? Gotta at least throw me a banana with a hint.”
Winks, chuckles and smirks; this was clearly one charismatic monkey.

I suspected it since Volume 2, but it’s really cool that it’s most likely official now; since Coco is one of my top 5 favorite RWBY ladies.

When The Dreaming City was first opened for the Vanguard to visit as they pleased, there was slight apprehension from the Awoken; but slowly as the Guardians came and helped to restore it to its former glory, that apprehension was lifted.
The same could not be said, however, about the apprehension that arose when it was revealed that Mara Sov was fornicating with a human hunter named Sun Wukong.
Ever so clever she was, that she was able to spin the narrative that the male was nothing more than her plaything; a stress reliever for when she needed the occasional unwinding.
What her people didn’t know was that she secretly had romantic feelings for the hunter, who too shared those feelings but would rather play the role the narrative gave him.
