(( Well friends, I think the time has finally come. I’ve been putting it off for a while, but there’s no reason to keep doing so.

I am closing down this ask blog.

I’m not deleting it, because I loved doing this so very much, and I would like to keep it as an archive. But I will no longer be updating or answering in character.

Hetalia is such a fun way to learn more about history and international relations and for all its faults, the fandom was really a great place. I have made and lost a fair share of friends, and I don’t regret any of my time dedicated to it. But I just don’t quite feel as a part of it as I used to. I’m not leaving the fandom entirely, because I could never leave something that was such a big part of my life.

I love Denmark so much, both the character and the actual country itself, but I just don’t have the time or the passion to keep up with doing an active in-character ask blog anymore.

Thank you, every single one of you, who followed me, promoted me, interacted with me, sent me questions and prompts and M!As and submitted things. You all made this worth doing. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart, and I can’t thank you enough.

AMKE 2016 Panel Auditions CLOSED!

(( THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Man, I am super psyched for this year, we have a great line up.

Our final roster includes: America, Russia, England, China, Canada, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Scotland, Germany, Italy, and Hungary!

The panel will be on Saturday, March 12th at  6:30-7:30 pm, in Room 103AB!

AMKE 2016 Panel Auditions

(( Yoooo what up kids, guess what time it is.

If you guessed ‘time to talk about Hetalia: A Beautiful Improv, AMKE 2016 edition’ you guessed rIGHT!

That’s right, we’re hosting another improv panel at Anime Milwaukee 2016, and auditions for it are currently open!

Same as always, the requirements for auditioning are SUPER SIMPLE:

  • You are DEFINITELY, 100% SURE going to be at AMKE ‘16
  • Your cosplay for your character is COMPLETE

If you fit this description, then all you have to do is send me an ask or fan-mail (or even a message, with the sort-of-fancy-mostly-weird new-fangled messenger system!) and I’ll send you back an audition prompt (ex: Nation meets Beyonce at coffee shop) and then you need to send me a video of you acting that prompt out!

Your video should include:

  • An in-character introduction of yourself (Less than 30 seconds)
  • Acting out of the prompt you received (less than 90 seconds)

Your audition video will be judged by me and my co-hosts based on the following:

So keep that in mind when you’re filming it!

If you make the cut, we’ll be sure to let you know and add you to our Facebook group and Skype chat so you can meet the other cast members and learn/practice the games.

We currently have five (5) spots available.

Characters already claimed include: Denmark (clearly), America, Russia, Scotland, Germany, Italy and Prussia.

Daisho 2015 Panel Auditions

((Hey guys! :3 

So remember how I said I was going to be leading a panel at Daisho 2015? Well here are the auditions for my panel called ‘Hetalia: A Beautiful Improv’. That’s right the panel is going to be about Hetalia characters, improv acting! This was a lot of fun when I did it with ask-den at AMKE so I’m doing it again at Daisho. :D

So here’s how to audition! If you’re interested, send me an ask, fanmail or submission saying that you’re interested in auditioning and which character or characters you are interested in.

Requirements:

  • You are DEFINITELY, 100% SURE going to be at Daisho ‘15
  • Your cosplay for your character is FINISHED

If you meet those, then you’ll get a little prompt (ex: Nation meets Beyonce at coffee shop) and then you need to send me a video of you acting that prompt out! If you can also send me pictures of your finished cosplay then please do!

Your video should include:

  • An in-character introduction of yourself (Less than 30 seconds)
  • Acting out of the prompt you received (less than 90 seconds)

If you have trouble making a video the other panelists and I may be able to work something out with a skype or tiny chat audition instead if necessary.

Your audition video will be judged by the other panelists based on the following:

Your favorite Nordic is fucking PSYCHED right now, for all sorts of reasons.

My hair is so fluffy because it is ALSO fuckin’ psyched  I think it makes me look like a rock star it just is.

But if you want hair like mine, more power to ya! I made a thing a while back about the Super Secret Magic Process that goes into emulating my ~fantastic style~. Let me dig it up for you.

My hair is so fluffy because it is ALSO fuckin’ psyched  I think it makes me look like a rock star it just is.

((Exciting News!))

*kicks down door to own blog*

GUESS WHAT KIDS.

I have obtained my own apartment! Move in date is set for Sunday, August 9th, Which means I should have this blog back up and running full time by Saturday, August 15th!

Can’t wait to be resuming our regularly scheduled antics.

STATE OF THE BLOG

(( HEY YOU GUYS WANNA HEAR SOMETHING CRAZY?

Of course you do, you love crazy! Why else would you follow me.

BUT OKAY. HERE IT IS:

I am graduating from college with a Bachelor’s Degree in ONE MONTH! (That’s thirty days!!)

That’s right, I’m going to be getting a very expensive fancy bit of paper saying I’ve Learned A Lot,and will entice people to hire me for a Full-time Adult Job.

CRAZY, RIGHT.

So what does that mean for the blog? It means that I am really HELLA busy right now and will be for a while, so there won’t be any updates until I’ve got this all done and settled (there’s like a 60% chance that I’m moving to another state right now.) But don’t you worry! I love this blog and I love all of you guys so I’m not leaving it! ;w; It’s just going to be inactive from like May 1st until my Adult Life is all up and running (which will hopefull ybe less than 2 months?).

So in the mean time, send me asks and submissions and anything else to your heart’s content! I’ll gladly answer them all when I come back. c:
