Sometimes I completely forget I drew this Moomin x Ghibli thing

The idea is Studio Ghibli adapted Comet in Moominland and the gang recently met Snufkin in their adventure

also me: in high school, I found a wooly bear caterpillar outside during gym and I wasn't sure if I could touch them so I was admiring it from afar until this girl came over to poke at it with her foot and she immediately went "haha whoops I killed it!" then left and I still want to beat her ass to this day

I didn’t mean for this to come off as her deliberately messing with me tbh, but honestly I’m not very good at picking up when someone is subtly bullying me, so idk anymore. I was just so focused on that caterpillar and mad over its careless death

In elementary school, my friend and I were trying to save a "bee" on the playground, (it may have been a wasp) and a boy was making fun of us for it. Eventually he went "it's just a stupid bee," and stepped on it and killed it. My friend and I both kicked him in the shin repeatedly until they sent us to the vice principal's office. (Note: they didn't send the boy). So I too feel your fury.

It’s an old tradition that during a leap year women could propose to men. This was usually depicted as old or ugly women trapping men, but some art focused more on the role reversal and could be quite cute.

I have a soft spot in my heart for the last one because it plays on the idea of “undesirable” people, a tall masculine woman and a shy effeminate man, finding each other but instead of mocking them depicts it as sweet that she could finally ask him because he was too shy and insecure to ask her.

Turns out the story of the last picture continues. Apparently the guy’s father isn’t convinced the woman can provide for his son.
